초등학교 6학년 통합학급을 위한 음악과 교수·학습 과정안 개발 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 6학년 음악과 교과서를 재구성하여 통합학급을 위한 음악과 교수·학습 과정안을 개발하고 제시하는 데 목적이 있다. 과정안 개발을 위해 초등학교 6학년 5종 교과서를 분석하여 제재곡 5곡을 선정하였으며, 일반학생만을 위한 기존의 교과서 내용에 보편적 음악 학습 설계의 원리를 반영하고, 음악치료교육적 요소를 접목하였다. 개발한 교수·학습 과정안의 타당성 확보를 위해 통합 음악교육 관련 전문가 8명에게 검증을 받았다. 전문가의 평가 내용은 과정안의 형식, 내용 및 교수·학습 방법 절차의 적절성, 학교 현장 적용에서의 효율성, 그리고 통합교육에 관한 문항으로 구성하였다. 개발된 교수·학습 과정안의 특징은 첫째, 학생의 장애 유무와 상관없이 공평한 음악교육과정이 실현되도록 하였다. 둘째, 장애학생과 일반학생을 위한 교육의 특수성과 보편성의 조화를 위해 일반 교육과정을 음악치료교육적 관점으로 재구성하였다. 셋째, 현재 6학년에게 적용되고 있는 2007년 개정 교육과정과 교과서를 바탕으로 개발하여 실제 학교 현장 적용의 수월성을 높였다. 연구 결과로 개발된 교수·학습 과정안은 일반교사에게는 통합 음악수업 자료가 부족한 교육 현실에서 현장에서 유용하게 쓰일 수 있을 것이라는 긍정적인 평가를 받았으며, 음악치료를 전공한 교사에게는 특정 장애에 대한 더욱 전문적인 접근이 필요하다는 평가를 받았다. 본 연구의 의의는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 통합학급 지원 교육 자료가 부족한 현실을 조금이나마 개선할 수 있을 것이다. 둘째, 통합교육을 위한 음악 교과서 의 수정·보완 작업의 자료로 사용될 수 있을 것이다. 셋째, 개발된 교수·학습 과정안이 적용된 음악 통합수업을 통해 교육과정의 통합을 실현에 도움이 될 것이다.;This study developed lesson plans for the music subject to conduct an inclusive class in which both disabled and non-disabled students can successfully participate. Lesson plans are based on the music textbooks from the 2007 revised national curriculum. The lesson plan is presently being applied to sixth grade classes in 2013 by employing the principles of universal design for learning music, regarding the contents of the textbooks only targeting non-disabled students and also reorganizing it grounded in the educational approach of music therapy. The validity of the lesson plan was confirmed by eight professionals of inclusive music education: two general teachers, two special education teachers, two general teachers majoring in music therapy, and two special education teachers majoring in music therapy. They evaluated the lesson plan based on the following criteria. It consisted of the items for the appropriateness of the developed plan’s forms and contents regarding whether its organization was suitable for the procedures of the teaching-learning method, its efficiency regarding whether it could be actually operated at school, and inclusive education that could influence both disabled and non-disabled students positively. The experts were also asked to write their own general opinions as well as analysis on each plan and the checklist (5-Point Likert’s Scale) for each evauation item. The lesson plan developed as the result of this study is characterized by the following: first, it presents inclusive goals for learning in which both disabled and non-disabled students can participate actively by applying the principles of universal design for learning. Second, the lesson plan is based on the viewpoint of the educational approach of music therapy, thereby providing the teacher conducting the class with the purpose of the class as well as information about how music can be used meaningfully for disabled students. Third, it is developed with the ground of 2007 revised national curriculum and its textbooks being currently applied to sixth graders, so it can be actually utilized at schools. The lesson plan developed here suggests ideas and practices that can be applied to the actual inclusive music class by inclusive class teachers, it will be able to provide some support for the current situation that we lack educational materials to support inclusive class. Moreover, it can be also used as a basic resource for general teachers, special education teachers, and music therapists to cooperatively edit or complement guides for teachers as well as music textbooks for disabled students. By applying the lesson plan developed here to the classroom, both disabled and non-disabled students can meaningfully participate in music class.
