집단음악치료가 저소득층 어머니와 아동의 양육관계에 미치는 영향

Abstract

저소득층 가정의 문제에 있어 아동발달에 대한 빈곤의 영향을 차단하고 빈곤한 가족의 상호작용 및 아동 양육을 위하여 가정에 대한 교육적 투자나 가족관계 증진 프로그램이 필요하다. 본 연구는 이를 위하여 광주광역시 3개의 지역아동센터를 이용하고 있는 아동과 그들의 어머니, 총 20명(실험집단 어머니 n=5 아동 n=5, 통제집단 어머니 n=5 아동 n=5)을 선정하여 매 주 1-2회, 60-70분간 총 14회기에 걸쳐 어머니와 아동을 위한 집단음악치료를 진행하였다. 설문은 집단음악치료가 양육관계에 미치는 영향의 변화를 살펴보기 위하여, 사전-사중-사후(어머니: 양육행동, 아동: 부모-자녀 관계)평가로 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 어머니 양육행동 변화에 대한 Wilcoxon 검정을 실시한 결과, 실험군의 논리적 설명은 유의하게 향상되었으며, 통계적으로 유의하지 않지만, 실험군의 온정은 증가, 개입과 강압 및 방임은 감소를 나타내었다. 이에 비하여 통제군의 양육행동은 유의한 변화가 없는 것으로 나타났다 둘째, 부모-자녀 관계 변화에 대한 분석 결과, 실험군의 부모-자녀 관계는 유의하게 증가하였고, 통제군의 부모-자녀관계는 유의한 변화가 나타나지 않았다. 이러한 결과는 모-자와 함께 하는 집단심리치료가 어머니와 양육행동과 강력한 상관이 있다는 많은 연구들의 결과를 통해 어머니의 양육행동의 논리적 설명과 아동이 지각하는 부모-자녀 관계 및 어머니의 온정을 향상시키고, 개입, 강압 및 방임 양육행동을 저하시키는데 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤을 것이라고 유추할 수 있다. 본 연구가 14회기라는 짧은 회기에도 불구하고, 어머니와 아동들의 변화를 가져올 수 있었던 것은 음악이라는 치료적 도구가 어머니와 아동 사이를 연결해주는 의사소통의 통로가 되고, 어머니와 아동의 관계에 영향을 주는 모든 감정들을 극복하게 함으로써 아동에 대한 어머니의 태도를 변화시킬 수 있었다. 따라서 본 연구는 어머니와 아동의 긍정적인 양육관계 즉, 안정적인 가정의 분위기, 긍정적인 가정의 특성, 원활한 의사소통, 부모와 아동의 친밀성에 중요한 역할을 하는데 의의가 있다. 그리고, 즉각적이고 적극적인 사회적 개입으로서 저소득층 아동의 원만한 성장발달에 중요한 부모의 양육태도와 부모-자녀 관계의 개선을 돕고 가족구성원 간의 지지를 증가시킬 수 있는 가족 응집력 강화 프로그램으로 지역아동센터, 학교현장, 상담센터 등에서 다양하게 적용되기를 기대한다.;In low-income families, a certain program is needed to prevent negative effects of poverty on childhood development. Plus, educational investment or family relationship improving program is needed for family interrelationship and childhood care. This research is designed to see if child rearing has been improved by group music therapy. The subjects are the kids and their mothers who have been using three different community child centers in Gwangju. The subjects were total 20(experimental group mothers n=5, Kids n=5, Contol group mothers n=5, kidsn=5)and they had group musict herapy. Each group music therapy has been done for 60-70 hours once or twice a week for 14 times. The questionnaire was designed by before- ad interim-after(Validation of Parenting Behavior Scale Parents with School-Age Children, Parent-Child Relationship Scale) This research has results like this. First, after we have done with Wilcoxon test on mothers-child rearing behavior, the experimental logic explanation has considerately improved. It was not statistically signified but we could see increased compassion and decreased intervention, coercion, and ignorance among the experimental groups. Second, after we have analyzed the relationship between parents and kids, we could see improvements in the experimental group but there was no difference in the control groups. This results shows that the group music therapy has a strong effects on mothers child-rearing behaviors. Plus, we could analogy that it positively improves mother’s compassion on their kids and drops intervention, coercion, and intervention child-rearing behaviors. Even though this research has been done short which was only 14 times, there was a change in the relationship between mothers and the kids. What brought this result is that music, an effective therapeutic tool, is the great method of communication between parents and kids, and it could be an overcoming way of emotions which could have impacted on their relationship. Therefore, this research has a great importance on positive childcare, stable family atmosphere, positive family characteristics, good communication, intimacy of parents and kids. It also can be an immediate and active social intervention for the developments of the children from low-income family. We hope that group music therapy can be use in community child center, schools, and counseling center as a method to reinforce family cohesion ,improve the relationship between parents and the Child, and strengthen interdependence between family members.
