음악적 표현을 위한 테크닉 교수법

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to suggest the efficient teaching methods on the piano technique, so that for the early intermediate-level students can master flexible movements through studies based on melodies. Technique is a mean to deliver sound and felling as a performer intends, and it is an intellectual process of considering musical idea and acquiring the physical skills. Thus, it is impossible to think of techniques apart from performers' musical taste, idea, and artistic perception. In addition, technical motions are related with emotions equivalent to them, and changing motions and emotions in accordance with feelings and senses should be approached with musical purpose. Moreover, since children have their own characteristics depending on their steps in cognitive development, physical developmental speed, musical background and so on, teachers have to take their personal characteristics into account in teaching piano techniques to young students. Therefore, as the bases of suggesting appropriate teaching strategy, this study presents the survey on the domestic piano technique education and did the research on the teaching materials for the piano technique by major and minor composers focusing on early intermediate level. A study was also conducted on types of piano technique centering around necessary motions and touch for piano performance. Through the study of literature on technique, it was proved that melodious works could have effects on natural musical expression and flexible piano performance. Based on the results of studies made above, the researcher contrived to approach piano technique method which harmonizes young pianists' internal musicality with intellectual and technical training. Finally, this study presents interesting and creative teaching method using technical pieces drawn from original song melodies. Standardized technique makes only standardized art. Accordingly, teachers have to promote unlimited potentials of young pianists and help them to master various piano techniques and to practice techniques for musical expression with their own tone color. In addition, they should continue to strive to attain more creative ideas for the technical excellency.;본 연구는 음악적인 표현을 위한 효율적인 피아노 테크닉 교수법에 관한 연구로서 초기 중급(Early Intermediate) 수준의 아동들을 대상으로 노래 선율에 의한 연습곡을 통해 자연스러운 테크닉 동작을 익힐 수 있는 지도방안을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 피아노 테크닉은 자신이 의도한 소리와 느낌을 정확하게 전달하기 위한 수단으로써 이것은 음악을 사고하고 느끼고 기술을 연마하는 지적 사고 과정이다. 그러므로 테크닉은 연주자의 음악적 취향과 이상 및 예술가적인 개성과 떼어서 생각할 수 없는 것이다. 또한, 테크닉적인 신체의 움직임(motions)은 이에 해당하는 마음의 움직임(emotions)과 많은 관계를 맺고 있으며 느낌과 감각에 따라 변화하는 이들의 움직임은 항상 음악적인 목적을 가지고 접근해야 하는 것이다. 더욱이 아동들은 인지 발달단계나 신체적 발달속도, 음악적 배경 등에 따른 개개인의 다른 특징을 가지고 있기 때문에 효과적인 아동기 피아노 테크닉을 교육하기 위해서는 그들의 개성적인 특성을 고려하여 테크닉적인 문제에 접근하도록 하여야 한다. 따라서 효율적인 교수법 제안을 위한 선행 연구로 국내 피아노 교육의 실태를 조사하여 테크닉 교육의 문제점을 살펴보았다. 또한, 문헌 연구를 통해 선율적인 노래가 자연스러운 음악적 표현과 유연한 피아노 연주에 효과를 미칠 수 있음을 증명해보았다. 이러한 연구 결과를 토대로 초기중급 난이도를 중심으로 각 작곡가들의 피아노 테크닉 교재들을 연구해 보고 피아노 연주에 필요한 신체의 움직임과 터치를 중심으로 테크닉 유형을 연구하였다. 이렇게 연구된 결과를 바탕으로 학생의 내적인 음악성과 지적, 기술적 훈련이 조화롭게 공존할 수 있는 테크닉 교수법의 접근을 도모하고자 이러한 교수법 방안의 하나로 노래 선율에 의한 연습곡을 통하여 흥미롭고 창의적인 테크닉 연습방법을 제안한다. 표준화 된 테크닉은 표준화 된 예술을 만들 뿐이다. 그러므로 교사는 아동 학습자들의 무한한 가능성을 키워주어 그들 스스로 다양한 연주 기술들을 익히고 자신만의 음악적인 색채를 가지고 음악적 표현을 위한 테크닉을 익힐 수 있도록 도와야 할 것이며 효과적이고 새로운 아이디어들을 끊임없이 연구하고 채워나갈 수 있도록 노력하여야 한다.
