서구현대춤의 현대성이 한국창작춤에 나타난 경향에 관한 연구

Abstract

본 논문은 서구현대춤의 현대성이 한국창작춤에 나타난 경향에 관한 연구를 통해 한국창작춤의 미적 특성을 규명하고 나아가 한국창작춤의 미적 특성을 규명하고 나아가 한국창작춤의 불분명한 개념문제를 해결해 나가고자 하는 목적에서 시작되었다. 70년대 중반부터 서서히 시작되어 80년대 이후 그 활동이 더욱 활발했던 한국창작춤은 그 발전과정에서 서구 현대춤의 이념이나 표현방법 등과 많은 유사점을 보이고 있다. 따라서 한국창작춤의 미적 특성을 규명하고자 할 때는 그러한 현대춤과의 관계가 한국창작춤속에 어떻게 나타나고 있는지를 알아보는 것이 큰 과제가 된다. 이에, 한국창작춤에 나타난 현대성의 연구는 이러한 현대춤과의 관계를 풀어나가고자 제시된 하나의 방법이기도 하다. 그래서 본 연구는 서구 현대주의적 특성을 바탕으로 그것이 한국창작춤 안에 어떠한 특성들로 나타나는지를 본 논문의 목적에 도달하고자 하였다. 따라서 이와 같은 연구의 목적 및 방법 등은 Ⅰ장 서론에서 제시하였고, Ⅱ장에서는 한국창작춤에 대한 기본적인 이해를 그것의 개념정립을 위한 제 문제 및 80년대 이후의 한국창작춤의 특징을 살펴 보았으며, 제Ⅲ장에서는 본 연구를 위한 이론적 근거인 서구현대춤의 현대주의적 특성을 네부분으로 나누어 알아보았다. 그리고 제 Ⅳ장에서는 위와 같은 이론적 배경을 바탕으로 한국창작춤속에 나타난 서구현대춤의 특성을 작품을 통해 연구하였으며 아울러 그것이 지니는 특수성 및 한계에 대해서도 언급하였다. 마지막으로 Ⅴ장 결론에서는 이와 같은 연구를 종합하여 결론을 내리고 한국창작춤이 나아가야 할 방향과 함께 앞으로의 연구 과제 또한 제시해 보았다.;The purpose of the present thesis is to clarify the aesthetic characteristics of the Korean creative dance through a research into the modernity appeared in the Korean creative dance, and moreover settle the unclear conceptual issues in the Korean creative dance. The Korean creative dance, which gradually began from the mid of 1970s, and coming into 1980s, its activity became more activated, has many points of similarity in its development process with ideas, expressional methods, etc. of the Western modern dance. Therefore it is deemed that in order to clarify the asethetic characteristics of the Korean creative dance, it is a significant task to find out how the relation with such Western modern dances appear in the Korean creative dance. Thus, a research into the modernity appeared in Korean creative dance is also a method suggested to understand such relations between the Western modern dance and the Korean creative dance. Therefore, it was intended to reach the purpose of the present thesis through a research into how the modernistic characteristics of the Western modern dance appear as another characteristics in the Korean creative dance. In Chapter Ⅰ, the purpose and method of the present study are suggested; in Chapter Ⅱ, for basically understanding of the Korean creative dance, all the issues for the conceptual thesis and the characteristics of the Korean creative dance since 1980s are reviewed: in Chapter Ⅲ, a theoretical base to study on the modernity of the Korean creative dance, the modernistic characteristics of the Western modern dance, are understood in 4 aspects; and in Chapter Ⅳ, based on such a theoretical context, the modernity appeared in the Korean creative dance is researched through some works, and additionally the particularity and limits of it is addressed. Finally in Chapter Ⅴ, synthesizing all the findings from this study, conclusion is made. And the direction to which the Korean creative dance should orient and some future study tasks are suggested.
