우울수준과 의복행동과의 상관성에 관한 연구

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 중년여성의 우울수준을 파악하고 그에 따른 의복행동의 차이를 알아보는 것이다. 연구 목적을 위한 연구문제로는 첫째, 연구 대상자의 우울수준을 알아본다. 둘째, 우울수준과 의복행동과의 상관성을 알아본다. 셋째, 개인적 환경변인에 따른 우울수준과 개인적 환경변인에 따른 의복행동의 차이를 알아본다. 연구 대상은 서울시내에 거주하는 40대에서 50대의 중년여성으로 하였고 표본추출은 연령, 학력, 수입을 고려한 편의추출법을 사용하였다. 연구 방법은 의복행동에 대한 선행연구와 문헌을 근거로 본 연구자가 작성한 설문지를 사용하였고, 우울성향을 측정하기 위한 검사도구로는 신승철 등(1991)에 의해 표준화된 바 있는 CES-D를 사용하였다. 자료분석은 SAS Package를 이용하여 빈도, 백분율, 산술평균, 1-test, l2검증, 일원변량분석(ANOVA), 다원변량분석(MANOVA), Fisher의 LSD 방법을 사용하였으며 자료 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 연구대상자의 평균 우울점수는 18.29이었고, 우울집단은 전체의 23.9%로 나타났다. 둘째, 우울수준과 의복행동과의 관계에서 우울수준과 상관관계를 보인 변인은 의복 만족도, 사회적 인정성, 안락감이었다. 셋째, 우울수준에 대해 집단간 차이를 보인 개인적 환경변인은 수입이었으며, 의복 행동에 대해 집단간 차이를 보인 환경변인은 학력이었다.;The purpose of this research is to provide a foundation which can aid our understanding of how depression of middle aged women is formed, and what relationships depression have with clothing behavior. The specific goals of this research are as follows: 1.investigation of depression among this sample, 2.investigation of the relationships between depression and clothing bebavior, 3.exploration of the differences in clothing bebavior and depression across personal environments. The subjects of the study are 350 of middle-aged 40's and 50's women in Seoul convenience sampling was used on age, schooling level, and income. In terms of research methodology, clothing behavior was measured with the items that were initially developed based on previous study. Depression was measured with CES-D(the Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale) in Korea. The data were analyzed with procedures such as frequency analysis, percentage, mean, chi-square test, ANOVA, MANOVA, Fisher's LSD test, Pearson's correlation coeffients and Cronbach'a. The key finding of the study are as follows: 1.Depression of the middle-aged women in Seoul is very high; the average level of depression is 18.29 point and the percentage of the group in depression is 23.9%. 2.There is a significant relationship between depression and clothing satisfaction, social approval, clothing comfort as sub-variables in clothing behavior. 3.The personal environment that revealed significant difference in depression is found to be income. With regard to clothing behavior, psychological dependence, status symbol and clothing satisfaction and comfort showed differences across schooling levels.
