유아가 지각한 부모 및 교사역할에 관한 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 유아가 지각한 부모와 교사의 역할에 대해 알아 보는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이러한 연구목적에 따른 구체적인 연구문제는 다음과 같다. 1. 유아가 지각한 어머니, 아버지, 교사의 역할은 하위요인에 따라 각각 어떠한가? 2. 유아가 지각한 어머니, 아버지, 교사의 역할은 유아교육기관의 일과운영시간 (반일제·종일제)에 따라 차이가 있는가? 3. 유아가 지각한 어머니, 아버지, 교사의 역할은 유아의 성별 및 연령에 따라 차이가 있는가? 본 연구는 서울시에 소재한 3개 새마을 유아원 (반일반·종일반)에 다니는 만4, 5세 유아 120명을 대상으로 하였다. 연구에 사용된 도구는 Smith외의 선행연구에서 사용되었던 면접문항을 수정·보완하여 사용하였다. 유아가 지각한 부모 및 교사의 역할간의 차이를 비교하기 위하여 빈도와 백분율을 산출하고 X^(2)검증을 하였으며, 성별 및 연령에 따른 차이를 비교하기 위하여 t검증을 통해 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 유아가 지각한 어머니, 아버지, 교사의 역할을 비교한 결과, 어머니는 가정적 역할, 그 다음에는 양육적·유아보호 역할, 도구적 역할, 가정적 역할, 개별적 역할의 순으로 나타났으며, 아버지는 놀이/자극적·유아보호 역할, 도구적 역할, 가정적 역할, 개별적 역할의 순으로, 그리고 교사는 놀이/자극적·유아보호 역할, 가정적 역할, 도구적 역할, 개별적 역할의 순으로 나타났다. 2, 일과운영시간에 따라 유아가 지각한 부모 및 교사 역할간의 차이를 분석한 결과, 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 즉, 종일제 유아가 반일제유아에 비해 어머니를 더 도구적 역할을 하는 것으로, 아버지와 교사를 가정적 역할을 하는 것으로, 그리고 교사를 더 유아보호 역할로 지각하였으며, 또한 반일제 유아는 종일제 유아에 비해 아버지를 더 개별적 역할을 하는 것으로 지각했다. 3. 유아의 성별 및 연령에 따른 부모 및 교사역할지각의 차이를 분석한 결과, 성별에 따른 역할지각에는 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았으나, 연령에 따른 역할지각의 차이에 있어서는 4세가 5세보다 어머니를 더 유아보호 역할로 지각하는 것으로 나타났다.;The purpose of this study is to find out the children's perception of the roles of parent and teacher. For this purpose, the questions of this study are as follows : 1. What is the roles of mother, father, and teacher which children perceive according category? 2. Are there any difference between the roles of mother, father, and teacher which children perceive according to the length of Early Childhood Education Program? 3. Are there any difference between the roles of mother, father, and teacher which children perceive according to their sex or age? The subjects of this study were 4 and 5years old-120 children attending from three Saemaul Nursery Schools (half-day, full-day) located in Seoul. The interview used by smith et. al' study is used for this study. The data were analyzed by chi-square based on percentage in order to compare the role of parent and teacher, and by t-test in order to find differences according to sex or age. The conclusions of this study are summarized as follows : 1. As a result of Comparing the roles of mother, father, and teacher which children perceive, mothers were perceived as doing Domestic, custodial·Child Care, Paid work. Personal ; and fathers were perceived as play/stimulation·Child Care, Paid work, Domestic, Personal ; and teachers were perceived play/stimulation·Child Care, Domestic, Paid work, Personal in order. 2. Parent and teacher perceptions by the length of Early childhood program were analyzed. The difference between programs were significant. That is full-day kindergarten children showed their mothers were doing more Paid work, their fathers were doing more Domestic, and their teachers more custodial·Child Care than half-day kindergarten children, while half-day children showed their fathers were perceived as doing Personal. 3. The differences between the perception according to the sex or age, there were no significant differences between boys and girls in any of the other category. But, more 4 years old than 5 years old perceived mothers doing Child Care.
