Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of dance training on isokinetic ankle dorsiflexion and plantar flexion strength. The subjects were consisted of seven healthy sedentary women as non-danser group and seven female modern dancers as dancer group. An isokinetic dynamometer, Cybex-Ⅱ was used to measure the strength, power and endurance of the ankle planter flexors and dorsiflexors. The power was measured at test speed of 180˚/sec. The maximal strength and muscle endurance were measured at test speed of 30˚/sec and 180˚/sec, respectively. The main findings of this study were as following. 1. The maximal strength of plantar flexors and dorsiflexors did not show significant difference between dancer group and non-dancer group. But maximum plantar flexion strength was higher in dancer group than in non-dancer group. And masimum dorsiflexion strength was lower in dancer group than in non-dancer group. Within group, maximum plantar flexion strength was 4-5 times as high as dorsiflexion strength in both foot sides. 2. The strength per body weight of plantar flexors was significantly higher in dancer group than in non-dancer group. But the strength per body weight of dorsiflexors was little diferent between groups. Within group, the strength per body wiegth of plantar flexors was 4-5 times as high as the strength per body weight of dorsiflexors. 3. The plantar flexion power of dominant foot was significantly higher in dancer group than in non-dancer group. But the plantar flexion power of non-dominant foot was not significantly higher in dancer group than in non-dancer group. The dorsiflexion power was little different between groups. Within group, the plantar flexion power was 2.5 - 3.2 times as high as the dorsiflexion power. 4. Muscle endurance of dominant foot was higer in dancer group than in Muscle non-dancer group in both plantar flexion and dorsiflexion. endurance of non-dominant footwas lower in dancer group than in non-dancer group within group. Plantar flexion endurance was cignificantly lower than dorsiflexion endurance. 5. The total work of both plantar flexion and dorsiflexion was significantly higher in 'dancer group than in non-doncer group. Within group, plantar flexion total work in both dancer group and non-dancer group was significantly higher than dorsiflexion total work. 6. Except maximal strength ratio and power ratio, DF/PF ratio in all condition was significantly lower in dancer group than non-dancer group. As the result of this study, we concluded that dance training incerase the strengths of ankle plantar flexors, but doesn't influence the strengths of ankle dorsiflexors. It is suggested that dance training produce unbalanced development of ankle joint muscles.;본 연구의 목적은 무용인집단과 일반인집단의 비교연구를 통해 무용연습이 족관절의 배측굴곡 및 저측굴곡시 등속성근력에 미치는 영향을 규명하는 것이었다. 본 연구의 피험자들은 무용인집단으로서 7명의 현대무용전공 여자무용수들을, 일반인집단으로서 7명의 일반여성들을 선정하였다. Cybex - Ⅱ 기자재를 이용하여 180°/sec, 30°/sec, 180°/sec의 각 속도로 각각 순발력 검사, 최대근력검사와 근지구력검사를 실시하였다. 3가지 검사를 동해 출력된 값을 분석한 결과는 다음과 같았다. 첫째, 최대근력의 경우, 저측굴곡시에는 무용인집단이 일반인집단보다 더 높았으나 배측굴곡시는 무용인집단이 약간 낮게 나타났다. 또한 동일집단내에서 저측굴곡시 최대근력은 양쪽발 모두 배측굴곡의 4-5배 정도였다. 둘째, 상대근력의 경우, 저측굴곡시에는 무용인집단이 일반인집단에 비해 유의하게 높았으나 배측굴곡시에는 차이가 없었다. 또한 동일집단내에서 저측굴곡시값은 배측굴곡시의 4-5배 정도였다. 셋째, 순발력의 경우, 선호발의 저측굴곡시에는 무용인집단이 유의하게 높았고 비선호발은 저측굴곡시에 무용인집단이 일반인집단에 비해 유의차이는 없으나 더 높았다. 동일집단내에서, 저측굴곡시 순발력은 배측굴곡시 순발력의 2.5 - 3.2 배 정도였다. 넷째, 근지구력의 경우, 선호발에서는 저측굴곡 및 배측굴곡 모두 무용인집단이 더 높았으나 비선호발에서는 무용인집단이 일반인집단보다 더 낮았다. 동일집단내에서, 적측굴곡시 근지구력은 배측굴곡시 근지구력보다 유의하게 낮았다. 다섯째, work량의 경우, 선호발과 비선호발의 저측굴곡 및 배측굴곡 모두 무용인 집단이 일반인집단보다 유의하게 높았으며 비선호발의 배측굴곡시 work량은 유의하지 않았다. 동일집단내에서 저측굴곡과 배측굴곡의 work량의 비교는 모든 조건에서 저측굴곡시 work량이 배축를곡시 work량 보다 유의하게 높았다. 여섯째 근력비율의 경우, 최대근력, 상대근력, 순발력 및 work량의 근력 비율은 비선호발의 최대근력 비율과 순발력의 비율을 제외한 선호발과 비선호발의 모든 근력비율에서 일반인집단이 무용인집단보다 유의하게 높았다. 위의 결과로부터 본 연구는 무용연습이 족관절의 저측굴곡근 근력은 증가시키지만 배측굴곡근 근력에는 영향을 미치지 않으며, 족관절을 움직이는 근육의 볼균형적인 발달을 초래한다고 결론 지을 수 있다.
