dc.description.abstractGenetic polymorphism of phosphoglucomutase (PGM) and glutamic-oxalcacetic-transaminase (GOT) of placenta and blood cell in Korean population was examined by means of starch gel electrophoresis. The results were obtained as follows : 1. The four GOT phenotypes were detected in blood cells : GOTs 1, GOTs 2-1, GOTs 2 and GOTs 3-1. 2. The GOTs 2 variant type as well as GOTs 3-1 were found in the present study. The gene frequencies of GOTs in blood cell were found to be 0.9753 for GOTs*1, 0.0179 for GOTs*2 and 0.0068 for GOTs*3. 3. Both of GOTs and GOTm were found in the placental extracts. Only GOTs 1 and GOTs 2-1 were found at the GOTs locus. The gene frequencies of GOTs in placental extract were found to be 0.9950 and 0.0050 for GOTs*1 and GOTs*2, respectively. 4. GOTm 2-1 as well as GOTm 1 were detected at the GOTm locus and the gene frequencies of GOTm*1 and GOTm*2 were found to be 0.9833 and 0.0167, respectively. 5. There were three phenotypes at the PGM3 locus : PGM3 1, PGM3 2-1 and PGM 2-2. The PGM3*1 and PGM3*2 allele occurred with frequency of 0.7375 and 0.2625, respectively at the PGM3 locus in the placental extracts. 6. Based on the above results, PGM and GOT polymorphisms could be implied to occur in the Orientals including Korean population.;한국인 집단의 태반 조직과 혈액내에서의 phosphoglucomutase(PGM3)와 glutamic - oxaloacetic - transaminase(GOTs , GOTm)에 대한 다형현상을 horizontal starch gel 전기영동법을 이용하여 조사한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 혈액을 이용한 GOT 실험에서는 4가지의 soluble-GOT표현형(GOTs 1,GOTs 2-1, GOTs 2,GOTs 3-1)이 나타났다. 2. Variant type인 GOTs 3-1 표현형뿐만 아니라 GOTs 2 type이 한국인집단에서 발견되었다. 혈액에서 GOTs locus의 인자빈도는 아래와 같다. GOTs*1 = 0.9753, GOTs*2 = 0.0179, GOTs*3 = 0.0068 3. 태반에서는 soluble-GOT와 mitochondria-GOT의 두 form이 모두 나타난다. 태반조직의 GOTs locus에서는 GOTs 1과 COTs 2-1 type만이 발견되었으며 그 인자빈도는 GOTs*1은 0.9950, GOTs*2는 0.0050으로 나타났다. 4. 태반의 GOTm locus에서는 보편적 type인 GOTm 1표현형 뿐만 아니라 GOTm 2-1 type도 300개체 중 10개체가 발견되었다. GOTm*1 과 GOTm*2의 인자빈도는 각각 0.9833과 0.0167이다. 5. 한국인 집단 에서 발견된 PGM3 locus의 3가지 표현형은 PGM3 1, PGM3 2-1, PGM3 2이며 PGM3*1 과 PGM3*2 의 인자빈도는 각각 0.7376와 0.2625 로 나타났다. 6. 위 결과를 근거로 하여, PGM과 GOT의 유전적 다형현상이 한국인 집단을 포함한 동양인 집단에서 나타난다고 말할 수 있다.-
