이브·쌩·로랑

Abstract

現在 파리에서 世界頂上의 패션 리더의 자리를 확보하고 있는 이브 · 쌩 · 로랑은 뛰어난 想像力과 創意力을 그의 服飾디자인에 反映시켜왔다. 그는 藝術家的 氣質과 哲學的 性向이 科學的 論理的인 면보다도 强하게 나타나고 있으며 날카로운 直觀力과 洞察力의 소유자이다. 建築과 繪畵의 考察에서 알 수 있듯이 한 時代에 있어서 服飾의 자태는 一般的인 思想의 동향과 藝術一般의 傾向과 일치하고 있는 경우가 많았다. 이것은 造形으로서의 服飾이, 그 어떤 抽象에 앞서 구체적 人間과의 관계에 의해서 충실하고 솔직하게表現된다는 뜻이다. 20 세기에 들어와서 一般造形의 特徵이 過剩裝飾을 배제하고 素材의 참맛을 살리는 機能主義를 내세웠다. 이에 따라 이브 · 쌩 · 로랑의 服飾造形에서 나타나듯이, 어떤 純粹性에 도달하여 다시 전환점을 찾기까지 그는 線의 單純性으로 그의 內面性을 구축하였다. 그의 作品의 傾向을 크게 나누어보면 트러피즈 · 라인을 發表해서부터 독자적인 상점을 열기以前의 服飾은 디올의 후계자로서 디올의 樣式을 그대로 보여줬고, 1962年 以後부터 1967年까지는 심플한 실루엣뜨로, 몽드리앙 · 룩에서는 강렬한 色彩도 볼 수 있다. 1968年에는 판타롱 · 스타일이 포말웨어로 까지 입혀지기 시작했으며 1973年까지 계속했다. 1974年의 루스 · 룩과 1975年의 슬림 · 룩은 前時代의 어리고, 귀여운 영 · 룩으로부터 벗어나 知的이고 成人다운 맛을 보이는 1930年代의 룩으로 재현되었다. 이를 레트로 · 룩이라고 한다. 1976年과 1977年에는 화려한 民俗服調로서, 形, 素材, 악세사리에 이르기까지 모두 民俗服調의 裝飾的인 디자인을 나타내고 있다. 러시아風, 코삭크風, 집시風, 인도風, 빅토리아風을 혼합한 환타지 · 룩은 流行의 意味가 갖는 것과 마찬가지로 그 만족시키는 내용은 異國趣味로 내놓아서 새로운 영감을 보여준다. 이런 發表는 作品마다 成功的으로 끝났다. 1977年에는 스페인風도 보였고, 오페라 · 드레스의 연장을 보이는 로맨틱 · 모드는 마치 축제를 보는 것 같은 디자인을 계속했다. 1978年의 服飾은 民俗服調의 화려했던 축제가 끝나고, 過去의 平常服이던 판타롱 · 스츠, 부루종 등이 새로운 심플한 모습으로 나타난다. 이브 · 쌩 · 로랑이 「요즈음 엘리건트한 女性은 裝飾하려고 하는 것이 아니라, 사람을 매혹시키기 위해서 입는다」 고했듯이 裝飾에서 다시 본래의 스타일로 돌아왔다. 그러나 過去의 스타일이 아닌 펑크 · 룩에서 보이는 바와같이 個性을 지닌 成人다운 이메지의 女性을 表現하고 있다. 이상과 같이 이브 · 쌩 · 로랑의 硏究는 그의 디자인으로 끝나는 것이 아니고 現今의 流行을 表現하고 나아가 樣式의 흐름을 提示해 주었다. 建築은 直線的 構成에 의해서 되도록이면 素材의 맛을 살려 심플하게 나타내고, 繪畵에서는 몽드리앙의 繪畵에서 보는 바와같이 自然에서 脫避하여 자기의 個性을 垂直線과 水平線의 구성으로 빨강, 파랑, 노랑, 검정, 흰색에 담아서 심플하게 形을 나타냈다. 이러안 一般造形의 傾向은 이상 말한 이브 · 쌩 · 로랑의 作品에서 우리는 그 傾向을 찾아볼 수가 있는 것이다.;Yves Saint Laurent who keeps the top position today as a world-famous fashion leader in Paris has reflected his outstanding imagination and creativity to his world of works. As we can know it in consideration of on architecture and painting, the style of costume in an era is likely to be consistent with the contemporary currents of thoughts and intention of plastic art. This means that costume as a plastic art would be expressed substantially and straitforwardly in the relationship with persons rather than a certain abstract idea. If we classify the main tendency of his works, we can see that he had succeeded the style of Christian Dior completely as a successor of him in early times and had shown a loud color in Mondrian Look with simple silhouette from 1962 to 1967. In 1968, the Pantalon Style was going to be popular to the level of formal wear and it continued to 1973. The Loose Look of 1974 and Slim Look of 1975 had shown an intellectual and adult-like mood. In 1976 and 1977, he had shown decorative design of folklore including luxrious folkloric forms, materials and accessories. And he also had shown new inspiration by creating Fantasy Look as a taste for a exotic mood, was a melange of styles derived from the Russian, Gypsy, Cossack, Morrocan, Indian and Victorian. And continued Spanish style and Romantic mood design expressing the festival. In 1978, recently, gorgeous style of folklore ends and Pantalon suits and Blouson having been the casual wear is to reappear. This means that he has come back to his original simple style. As we have seen, the study of Yves Saint Laurent doesn't end in his design itself but also expresses fashion of nowadays and suggests the currents of contemporary style of plastic art. Architecture has been expressed as simple as possible in the lineal construction, and painting has been expressed similarly as we've seen in the Mondrian painting which emerged from nature and expressed his individuality in simple form painted in red, blue, yellow, black and white color on the composition of horizontal and perpendicular line. Such intention of plastic art has been expressed in the works of Yves Saint Laurent.
