유아의 자아개념 증진을 위한 프로그램 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 자아개념에 대한 선행연구의 고찰과 유아가 주도하는 자아개념 활동을 수집하여 적용시안을 제시해봄으로써, 유아의 자아개념 증진을 위한 프로그램 개발에 기초자료를 제공하는 데 그 목적을 두고 있다. 연구의 목적을 수행하기 위하여 본 연구는 다음과 같은 연구내용을 선정하였다. 1. 자아개념 형성에 미치는 요인을 분석하고, 그것이 미치는 영향에 대해서 알아본다. 2. 자아개념과 인지영역과의 관계에 대해서 알아본다. 3 자아개념 증진 프로그램인 인간발달 프로그램 (Human Development Program)에 대해서 고찰해본다. 4. 유치원 교육과정에 포함하여 적용할 수 있는 자아개념 증진 프로그램 시안을 제시한다. 본 연구를 위해 문헌연구와, 시내 S유치원 한 학급에 자아개념 활동을 적용하여 사례연구를 실시하였다. 본 연구를 통해 밝혀진 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 유아의 자아개념 형성에는 선천적 요인 뿐만 아니라, 부모·교사·자아개념 활동 등의 후천적 요인도 크게 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 2. 자아개념과 인지영역과는 매우 밀접한 관련이 있었다. 3. 인간발달 프로그램은 장기적이고 체계적인 프로그램으로서, 유아의 자아개념 증진에 효과적인 프로그램임을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 이와같은 프로그램이 우리나라 유아를 위해 개발된다면 그 교육적인 효과가 크게 기대될 수 있다. 4. 5·6세 유아에게 자아개념 활동을 적용한 결과, 그들은 자아개념 활동이라는 흥미로운 매체에 대해 긍정적인 반응을 나타내었다. 따라서 자아개념 활동은 유아의 자아개념 증진에 영향을 미친다고 하겠다.;The purpose of this study was to provide basic data for the development of program designed to promote self-concept : the previous studies on self-concept were researched and the applicable tentative plan was suggested by collecting the child's self-concept activities. For this purpose, this study set the following research subjects. 1. It analyzes the factors which have an effect on the formation of self-concept, and investigates their effect. 2. It examines the relation between the self-concept and the cognitive domain. 3. It inquires into the Human Development Program, the program designed to promote self-concept. 4. It suggests the tentative program which is designed to promote self-concept and applicable to the pre-school curriculum. For this study, decumentary study and case study were carried out. The results of the study are as follows : 1. In addition to innate factors, acquired factors- parents, teacher, and self-concept activities -had a great effect on the formation of the child's self-concept. 2. Self-concept and cognitive domain proved to be closely related. 3. As a long-term and systematic program, Human Development program was an effective one to promote the child's self-concept. Consequently, these programs are expected to have great educational effect if they are developed for the children in our country. 4. The children aged 5-6 generally showed positive response to self-concept activities. Accordingly, self-concept activities had an effect on the promotion of the child's self-concept.
