초등학교 4학년 개인생활 덕목형성을 위한 가정 연계 프로그램 개발

Abstract

본 연구는 초등 도덕과에서 개인 생활 덕목 형성을 위한 가정 연계 프로그램을 개발하여 학교 현장에서 적용할 수 있도록 하는데 그 목적이 있다. 현대 산업 구조의 변화에 따라 가정의 역할이 축소되고, 이에 따라 가정은 기본 생활 습관 및 개인 생활 덕목 등 도덕에 관한 기본적인 교육을 학교에 전적으로 의지하고 있으나, 이는 학교의 교육만으로는 그 실효성을 거두기가 어렵다. 개인 생활 덕목에 관한 요구 조사 분석 결과 초등학교 고학년 아동들은 도덕적 행동을 구체적으로 어떻게 수행해야 하는지를 몰라서 실천하지 못하는 것이 아니라, 행동을 실천해야 하는 당위성이나 내재적 동기의 부족, 또는 실천의지 부족으로 실천하지 못하는 경우가 많다. 이에 대해 본 연구는 개인 생활 덕목에 대한 중요성을 인식하고, 실생활에서 스스로 실천할 수 있는 개인 생활 덕목 형성을 위한 프로그램을 개발하였다. 또한 이 연구에서는 고학년 아동들의 한 차원 높은 도덕적 발달 특성을 고려하여, 단순한 과제의 반복 제시를 통한 개인 생활 덕목의 형성이 아닌 개인 생활 덕목에 대한 인지적 이해 및 자기반성, 행동의 실천 계획 수립 및 실천 활동, 그리고 실천 과정에 대한 피드백 제공을 통한 반성의 과정을 거치면서 보다 체계적이고 추상화된 방법으로 도덕적 행동의 습관화 형성을 목적으로 한다. 개인 생활 덕목 형성을 위한 가정 연계 프로그램의 목표는 '개인 생활 덕목의 의미를 알고, 그 중요성을 깨달아 실생활에서 이를 실천할 수 있다.' 로 설정하였다. 개인 생활 덕목 형성을 위한 가정 연계 프로그램의 내용 요소는 '바른 몸가짐하기', '소중한 시간 활용하기', '스스로 결정하고 행동하기'가 선정되었다. 특히 '스스로 결정하고 행동하기'내용 요소는 고학년의 특성을 고려하여 아동들이 개인 생활 덕목에 해당하는 내용 요소를 스스로 선택하고, 이에 대한 내용 요소를 선정하여, 실행 계획을 세우고 실천할 수 있도록 하였다. 개인 생활 덕목 형성을 위한 가정 연계 프로그램의 방법은 개인 생활 덕목의 의미 및 필요성 인식하기, 자기 반성 및 실천 의지 다지기, 실천 계획 수립하기 등의 학교에서의 교수·학습 활동이 개인 생활 덕목의 실천 및 자기 평가, 실천 활동을 통한 자기 반성, 부모의 실천 격려 및 관찰 평가 등의 가정에서의 실천 활동과 연계되어 질 수 있도록 하였다. 이를 위해 학습 시간은 한 차시당 60분으로 운영하였으며, 마인드맵, 관련 글 읽기, 자신의 경험 조사하여 발표하기, 역할 놀이 등의 교수·학습 전략과 가정용 개인 생활 덕목 교육 자료, 실천 기록장, 실천 일기, 관찰 일기, 인터넷에 글 올리기 등의 가정 연계 전략을 활용함으로써 아동의 개인 생활 덕목에 관한 이해와 실천을 도왔다. 개인 생활 덕목 형성을 위한 가정 연계 프로그램의 평가는 강북구 S초등학교 4학년 9반 학생 30명을 대상으로 평가를 실시하였다. 개인 생활 덕목의 형성에 관한 평가는 아동의 실천 기록장과 실천 일기 분석, 부모의 관찰 일기 분석, 개인 생활 덕목 검사, 교사의 체크리스트와 관찰 기록지 분석 등을 통해 프로그램의 효과를 알아보았다. 개인 생활 덕목 검사의 결과는 프로그램의 사전과 사후 결과에 대해 t검정으로 분석하였다. 개인 생활 덕목 형성을 위한 가정 연계 프로그램의 실시 결과 아동들의 개인 생활 덕목은 프로그램 실시 이전에 비해 실시 이후에 더 형성되었음을 확인할 수 있었다. 이는 가정 연계 프로그램이 초등학교 고학년인 4학년 아동들의 개인 생활 덕목의 형성에 효과적임을 보여주는 것이며, 학교에서 학습한 개인 생활 덕목 행동이 가정과 주변 생활 장면에서 일관성 있게 반복될 수 있도록 실천 경험을 제공해 줌으로써의 개인 생활 덕목 형성은 초등학교 고학년 시기에서도 간과해서는 안 될 중요한 교육 중의 하나라는 것을 분명하게 밝혀주고 있다. ;The purpose of this study is to develop home link program for individual life virtues formation and make it to be applied in school scene. According to change of modern industrial structure, home role is reduced, and home is relying on education about individual life virtues entirely in the school accordingly, but this is difficult to gain the effectiveness by education of school. According to request investigation analysis result about individual life virtues, elementary school forth- year children do not practice doing not know how to achieve moral action concretely, but they don't practice to the tribe of motive. So this research wishes to recognize the importance about individual life virtues, and wish to develop program for individual life virtues formation that can practice naturally in real life. Also, considering dimension high moral development special quality of forth-year children, in this research there is the purpose to do individual life virtues formation, not formation of individual life virtues through repeat presentation of simple subject, comprehension and introspection about individual life virtues, action plan establishment and practice process, and through feedback offer about practice process, do formation by purpose habit of moral action. The aims of home link program for individual life virtues formation are that know meaning of individual life virtues, realize the importance, and practice this in real life. Contents element of home link program for individual life virtues formation are 'To do right behavior', 'To utilize during important time', 'decide naturally and chose to act'. Estimation of home link program for individual life virtues formation executed estimation about practice of individual life virtues and estimation about studying of individual life virtues to forth-year students 9 class in 30 Gangbukgu S elementary school. According to enforcement result of home link program for individual life virtues formation, children's individual life virtues improved, and children's individual life virtues showed difference that keep in mind in .05 as statistical level of existence. This shows that home link program is effective in formation of forth-year student's individual life virtues in elementary school. Supplying practice experience so that individual life virtues action to study in school may can be repeated as there is consistency home and surrounding life place is clearing clearly that is one of important education that must not overlook in elementary school year time.
