결혼 적령기 남녀의 배우자 선정 조건

Abstract

This study is conducted to discover the idealistic marrige conditions for young generations in Seoul. 100 high school graduates and 100 college graduates are selected for this study. The finding subjects are as follows. 1. Marriage view points for the unmarried youths. 2. Standards of partners qualifications. 3. Whether the above standards are different depending on the educational status. 4. Are there differences between sex for the standardization? Finding results are : a. Proper matrimonial ages : 26-29 for man 24-27 for women b. Age difference : Man wants 4-5 years differences while woman wants 1-3 years difference. c. Stature differences : 6-10 cm. for man 1-15 cm. for man d. Professional preferences : Man wants his partner's profession as teaching, professional business, clerical works, while woman hopes to have her partner's profession as white collar works, manager, professional business, and technically skilled works. e. Income range ; 3-5 million won for man 6-8 million won for woman f. Man's standards for the partner : Appearance, educational background, profession, character health, family status, and hobby. g. Woman's standards for the partner : Character health, family status, hobby, appearance. (the nature of appearances in quite different between man and woman.);인간의 삶은 끊임없는 선택의 연속으로 점철되어 있다고 해도 과언이 아니다. 그 중에서도 일생을 함께 할 배우자를 선택하는 일은 매우 중요하다고 하겠는데 시대의 변화에 따라 배우자를 선택하는 기준도 많이 변화했을 것이라고 본다. 따라서 본 연구는 현재 결혼 적령기에 놓인 미혼 남녀들이 어떤 기준에 의해 배우자를 선택하며 또 결혼관은 어떠한가를 알아보려는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 피험자들은 서울에 있는 남녀 100명씩 총 200명으로 학력을 고등학교 졸업 이상으로 한정하였다. 자료수집은 질문지법을 이용하여 각 문항에 대해 피험자 자신의 의견을 기록하게 하였다. 본 연구에서 나타난 결론은 다음과 같다. 1. 결혼 적령기는 대체로 남자는 26 ∼ 29세이고 여자는 24 ∼ 27세이다. 2. 배우자의 신장차에서 남자는 6 ∼ 10cm 작을 것을 희망하고, 여자는 11 ∼ 15cm 클 것을 희망한다. 3. 배우자의 직종면에서 남자는 배우자의 직종이 교직자·공무원·전문직이기를 희망하고, 여자는 배우자의 직종이 사무직·기업경영·전문직·기술직이기를 원하고 있다. 4. 주거생활은 아파트보다 단독주택을 원하고 있고, 노부모를 모시는 일을 매우 긍정적으로 생각하고 있다. 5. 가정생활은 남녀 공히 영위해 나가야 하며, 육아교육은 여자가 전적으로 책임져야 한다고 생각하며, 결혼 후에도 여자도 직업을 가지고 있는 것이 바람직하다고 생각하는 사람이 대부분이었다. 6. 배우자 선정에 있어서 중요한 요인은 남자들은 용모, 학력, 직업, 성격의 순이고, 여자들은 학력, 직업, 성격, 건강의 순으로 나타나 남자들은 여자의 용모를 중요시하는 반면 여자들은 용모가 하위의 순으로 지적하고 있다.
