본 硏究는 부모의 직업과 자녀의 知能과의 관계, 부모의 교육수준과 자녀의 知能과의 관계, 형제수와 知能과의 관계를 조사 분석하여 知能發達의 환경요인인 수입, 사회적 지위, 부모의 직업, 부모의 교육정도, 형제수, 출생순위……등이 자녀의 知能에 어떤 관계가 있는가를 究明하는데 그 목적이 있다. 本 硏究의 대상은 경기도 중소도시에 있는 여자고등학교 학생 1,000명으로 부모의 직업과 자녀의 知能과의 관계, 부모의 교육수준과 자녀의 知能과의 관계, 형제수의 많고 적음과 知能과의 관계를 비교하였다. 本 硏究를 위한 지능검사는 황정규·김순택의 「知能 綜合 檢査A」를 사용하였으며 χ^(2)을 사용하여 분석하였다. 1. 부모의 직업분류는 (1)전문기술 및 전문관련직 종사자(Professional Technical and Related Workers), (2)행정 및 관리직 종사자(Administration and Managerial Workers), (3)사무 및 관련직 종사자(Clerical and Related Workers), (4)판매 종사자(Sales Workers), (5)서어비스직(Service Workers), (6)농업, 축산업, 임업, 수산업 및 수렵업 종사자(Agricultural Animal Husbandry and Forestry Workers, Fishermen and Hunters), (7)생산 및 생산관련직 종사자, 운수장비 운전사 및 노무자(Production and Related Workers, Transport Equipment Operator and Laboures), (8)군인(Armed Forces)의 8 가지로 분류하였다. 2 父의 교육수준은 국졸, 중고졸, 대졸로 분류하였고 母의 교육수준은 국졸, 중졸, 고졸로 분류하였다. 3. 형제수는 외딸에서 7명까지로 분류하였다. 부모의 직업별에 따른 자녀들의 知能을 보면 부모의 직업이 전문기술 및 전문관련직 종사자, 행정 및 관리직 종사자, 군인의 자녀의 知能이 높게 나타나고 있어서 부모의 직업이 자녀의 知能에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 부모의 교육수준별에 따른 자녀의 知能을 보면 부모들의 학력이 높을수록 자녀들의 知能이 높게 나타났다. 형제수에 따른 知能정도를 보면 형제수가 많아질수록 知能이 낮게 나타났다.;The aim of this thesis is to analyze and investigate those seemingly influencing factors in students' intelligence development stage, such as the parents' occupation, schooling, and the number of his brothers and sisters and the order of his birth among them, thus bringing light on the relationship between those factors and one's intelligence quotient. Materials taken from 1000 students of a civic girls high school located in a middle-sized city were studied and analyzed to make clear the relationship between the student's intelligence quotient and such factors as the parents' occupation or schooling, and the number of the student's brothers and sisters. "Extensive Intelligence Quotient Test A" by Whang jung Kyu and Kim soon Taek was adopted for this research, with the method "x2" made use of. Parents' occupations are classified as follows: 1) Professional, Technical and related workers, 2) Administration and managerial workers, 3) Clerical and related workers, 4) Sales workers, 5) Service workers, 6) Agricultural, Animal Husbandry and Forestry workers, Fishermen and Hunters, 7) Production and related workers, 8) armed Forces. Father's schooling was divided into groups: Elementary school graduate, junior and senior highschool graduate and college graduate. Mother's schooling into three. Elementary school graduate, junior highschool graduate senior highschool graduate. The number of brothers and sisters examined here ranges none to seven. In conclusion, this study shows the following three facts, the fact that those students whose fathers' occupation belong to items 1), 2) and 8) in the parents' occupational classification listed above is closely related to the students' intelligence. Those students whose parents' schooling levels are comparatively high show high level of intelligence. Those students who have less brothers and sisters have higher degree of intelligence. The average intelligence quotient of those students who have no brothers or sisters was 114.5, while that of those students who have seven brothers or sisters was 104.9. This fact seems to indicate dispersed and lessened care and interest of the parents in the student results in the decreased intelligence quotient on the part of the student.
