- 蔓蔘 Codonopsis pilosula(Franchet) Nannfeldt(Campanulaceae)의 ether soluble fraction에서 5가지 物質 ( 化合物 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 )을 分離하여서 여러가지 理化學的 實驗 및 機器分析 Data를 綜合하여 이들의 化學構造를 Taraxeryl Acetate, mp 298-301˚, [α] `_18^D = +10.5˚(c=0.8, CHCI_3), Friedelin, mp 263-5˚, [α] `_18^D = -25.5˚(c=0.5, CHCI_3), Taraxerol, mp 287-8˚, [α] `_18^D = ±0(c=0.81,CHCI_3), α-Spinasterol, mp 165-7˚, [α] `_20^D = -4.5˚(c=0.5, CHCI_3) 및 α-Spinasteryl-β-D-glucoside, mp 283-5˚, [α] `_20^D = -37.5 ˚(c=0.25, DMF)임을 밝혔다. α-Spinasterol과 α-Spinasteryl-β-D-glucoside에는 少量의 △^7-Stigmastenol 및 △^7-Stigmastenyl-β-D-glucoside가 名名 混合되어 있음을 spectral data를 통하여 確認하였다.
; The root of Codonopsis pilosula (Franchet) Nannfeldt (Campanulaceae) has been used as a folk medicine in treating hyperpiesia, anemia and leukemia or as a substitute for Korean ginseng in traditional oriental medicine.
Repeated column chromatography on silica gel of the ether-soluble constituents of the dried root resulted in the isolation of three Triterpenoids, Taraxeryl Acetate, mp 298-301˚, Friedelin, mp 263-5˚, and Taraxerol, mp 287-8˚ together with α-Spinasterol, mp 165-7˚ and its Glucoside, mp 283-5˚.
All compounds were identified on the basis of spectral data and chemical reactions.
Spectral data showed that △^7-Stigmastenol and its Glucoside were contained in α-Spinasterol and its Glucoside, respectively, as a minor component.
