유치원 교사의 전문성 발달을 위한 기초 연구

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out practical tendency that teachers acquire and improve Knowledge in order to develop their professionalism in Early Childhood Education in Korea and analyze this tendency according to variable cause 9formal schooling and experience). For these purpose, the questions of this study are as follows: 1. How os the general using tendency of information sources (staff meeting, teacher education, conference etc.) when the teacher in Early Childhood Education teacher Children? 2. What tendency does the using degree of information sources show according to variable cause (formal schooling and experience)? 3. How is the tendency that teachers participate in professional organization in Early Childhood Education? 4. What tendency does the joining or withdrawal of professional organization show according to variable causes? 5. When the teachers in Early Childhood Education teach Children how is the degree of recognition concerning usefulness of information sources? 6. What tendency does the degree of recognition about information sources show according to variable causes? The subjects to this study are 215 class teachers in the filed of Early Childhood Education in Seoul. The questionnaire concerning development of teacher's professionalism as a way of study was distributed, collected and treated. The Data examined frequency, Mean, t-test, F-test and x^(2) test. The conclusions of this study are summarized as follows; 1. When the teachers in Early Childhood Education of Korea teach children the using tendency of information sources (staff meeting, teacher education, conference etc.) by them showed lack of enthusiasm on the whole. 2. The using degree of information sources than lower group, but the using degree of information sources is not concerned with experience systematically. 3. The degree of joining professional organization as the teacher Early Childhood Education showed low degree generally. 4. The degree of joining professional organization as the teacher in Early Childhood Education was revealed that the higher formal schooling group joined more than lower group and 1-3 year experienced teacher joined the most in xperience. 5. Among the information sources which the teachers in Early Childhood Education use in order to teach children, co-worker in-service education, major books, what you have seen another teachers do, staff meeting, the intuition of teacher himself and journal article were effective. On the contrary the director and the director and the school inspector were hardly effective. 6. The more the formal schooling is low, the more the director is effective in the usefulmess degree of recognition about information sources. And the more the teachers have experience, the more school inspectors help them.; 본 연구의 목적은 우리나라 유치원 교사들이 전문성을 발달시키기 위하여 지식을 습득하고 개선시키는 실제적 경향을 파악하고, 이러한 경향을 변인별(학력, 경력)로 분석해 보는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이와 같은 연구 목적을 달성하기 위하여 구체적인 연구 문제를 다음과 같이 설정하였다. 1. 유치원 교사들이 유아를 지도할 때 사용하는 정보자원(교사회의, 교사교육, 강습회 등 등)의 일반적인 이용 경향은 어떠한가? 2. 정보자원의 이용 정도는 변인(학력, 경력)에 따라 어떤 경향을 보이는가? 3. 유치원 교사들이 전문적 단체에 가입한 경향은 어떠한가? 4. 전문적 단체에 가입한 여부는 변인에 따라 어떤 경향을 보이는가? 5. 유치원 교사들이 유아를 지도할 때 사용하는 정보자원에 대한 유용성 인식 정도는 어떠한가? 6. 정보원의 유용성 인식 정도는 변인에 따라 어떤 경향을 보이는가? 본 연구는 연구대상으로 서울 시내 유치원의 담임교사 215명을 대상으로 하며, 연구 방법으로 교사의 전문성 발달에 관한 질문지를 배분-수거-처리하여 빈도, 평균, t검증, F검증, x^(2)검증을 하였다. 연구 문제에 대한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 우리나라 유치원 교사들은 유아를 지도할 때 사용하는 정보자원(교사회의, 교사교육, 강습회등 등)의 이용 경향이 전반적으로 저조하게 나타났다. 2. 정보자원의 이용 정도는 학력면에서 학력이 높은 집단이 더욱 정보자원의 이용과 관련되었으나, 경력면에서는 경력이 많고 적음에 따라 정보자원의 이용 정도와 체계적으로 관련되지 않았다. 3. 유치원 교사들이 전문적 단체에 가입한 정도는 전체적으로 낮게 나타났다. 4. 유치원 교사들이 전문적 단체에 가입한 정도는 학력이 높을수록 많이 가입한 것으로 나타났다. 5. 유치원 교사들이 유아를 지도할 때 사용하는 정보자원중에서 동료교사, 교사재교육, 전공서적, 다른 유치원 교사의 수업 및 행동등의 참관, 교사회의, 교사자신의 직관력, 연구논문은 도움이 되는 것으로 나타났으나, 이와는 대조적으로 원장, 장학사는 많은 도움이 되지않는 것으로 나타났다. 6. 정보자원에 관한 유용성 인식 정도에서 학력이 낮을수록 원장이 도움이 된다고 하였으며, 경력면에서는 경력이 많을수록 장학사가 도움이 된다고 하였다.
