On numerical range of w-hyponormal operators

Abstract

In this thesis we study some properties of the numerical range of w-hyponormal operators. In particular, we prove the relation between the numerical ranges of T～ and T~~when T is a w-hyponormal operator. Also we give some supports for Jung-KO-Pearcy conjecture in [JKP].;이 논문에서는 w-hyponormal 작용소의 numerical range의 여러 가지 성질들에 대하여 공부한다. 특히, T가 w-hyponormal 작용소일 때, T∼와 T~~의 numerical range들 사이의 관계를 증명한다. 또한, Jung-Ko-Pearcy의 conjecture에 대한 몇 가지 예를 제시한다.
