A NOTE ON COMMON DIVISORS AND MULTIPLES OF INTEGRAL MATRICES

Abstract

Let R be a principal ideal domain. Let A and B be matrices over R. In this thesis, we will show that the greatest common right divisor D and the least common left multiple M of matrices A & B, which are unique only to within left multiplication by uni-modular matrices, may be chosen so that M = AD^(-1) B if D is singular.;R를 주이데알정역이라고 하자.
