Abstract
본 연구는 의복구매에 있어 가장 실질적이고 중요한 소비층인 40-50대 중년층 주부를 대상으로 사회계층을 구분하고, 계층에 따른 착용 의복 이미지와 스타일, 그리고 의복구매행동을 분석하여 이들 40-50대 중년 주부층을 타겟으로 하는 의류업체의 효율적인 전략 수립에 기여하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 구체적인 목적은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 사회계층 척도에 따라 40-50대 중년층 주부 집단을 분류하고 분류에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 변인을 알아본다. 둘째, 각 사회계층의 의복착용행동을 알아본다. 셋째, 각 사회계층의 의복구매행동을 알아본다. 넷째, 각 사회계층에 대한 마케팅전략 방안을 제시한다. 연구대상은 서울시에 거주하는 40-50대 주부 344명을 대상으로 하였고, 표본추출은 한국감정평가업협회(1995)에서 발표한 『전국토지공시지가수준표』에 준거하여 할당 표본추출을 실시하였다. 연구방법은 문헌과 선행연구를 토대로 연구자가 수정보완한 질문지를 사용하였으며, 자료분석은 SAS Package를 이용하여 빈도, 백분율, 산술평균, 피어슨 적률 상관분석, 단계별 판별분석, 분산분석, 던컨 테스트, χ^(2) test를 실시하였다. 자료분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 40-50대 중년층 주부집단을 상, 중, 하의 3개 사회계층으로 분류하였으며, 사회계층을 분류하는데 가장 큰 영향을 미친 변인은 가정의 총월수입으로 나타났다. 둘째, 사회계층간에 착용 의복이미지에서 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 그러나 세부적인 의복품목별 스타일에서는 원피스를 제외하고는 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 셋째, 사회계층간에 정보원, 의복 선택기준, 점포선택기준. 구매처, 쇼핑시기, 구매빈도, 구매가격대, 대금지불방법 등 8개 의복 의복구매행동변수에서 유의적인 차이가 나타났다. 그러나 의복 불만족요인에서는 사회계층간에 유의한 차이가 없었다. 넷째, 위의 결과를 바탕으로 각 사회계층을 겨냥한 점포전략과 상품전략을 제시하였다.;This study intends to contribute to setting up an effective marketing strategy targeting women in their 40's and 50's, the most important clothing consumer group, by classifying them into social classes, examining into their traits, md analyzing their wearing and purchasing behavior. The specific goals of this study are as follows: First, it is to classify women in their 40's and 50's into social classes and to find out the most influencial factor in social stratification. Second, it is to examine each social class's clothes wearing behavior. Third, it is to examine each social class's clothes purchasing behavior. Fourth, it is to propose a marketing strategy for each social class. The subject of this study are 344 women in their 40's and 50's living in Seoul, and the model sampling is done by allotment sampling based on the 「Index of National Public Land Values」. Modified survey based on references and former studies is used, and using SAS packages, methods such as frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean, Pearson's correlation analysis, stepwise discrimination analysis, ANOVA, Duncan's multiple range test, x^(2)-test are applied. The results of data analysis are as follows: First, women in their 40's and 50's are classified into high, middle, and low classes, and the most influencial factor in the classification of social class is found to be total monthly income. Second, clothig image of which each social class wear are proven to be significantly different among 3 classes. However, specific garment styles they wear are proven not to be significantly different except in the case of one-piece dress. Third, clothes purchasing behavior factors such as informants, clothing selection standards, store selection standards, place of purchase, shopping time, frequency of purchase, price of purchase, and paying methods are proven to be significantly different among 3 social classes. However, clothing dissatisfaction factors are proven not to be significantly different among classes. Fourth, marketing strategies for each social class are provided based on these results.
