다양한 재료를 활용한 민화표현활동이 창의적 표현력에 미치는 영향

Abstract

현대 사회는 정보와 지식의 증가로 인해 극심한 국제경쟁과 더 높은 수준의 지식과 기술, 고도의 정신기능이 요구되고 있다. 따라서 오늘날의 교육은 미래 사회에 잘 대처할 수 있는 창의적 인간을 기르는데 역점을 두어야 한다. 미술교육의 궁극적 목표도 전수된 방법이나 기능만을 답습시켜 훌륭한 기능인으로서의 미술가를 양성하는 것이 아니라, 변화하는 사회 속에서 미적 가치를 발견하고 그것을 향유하며 생활에서 가능한 여러 가지 다양한 경험과 체험을 갖게 하여 학생들의 능력을 표현함으로써 창의적 표현력과 미적 감수성을 지닌 창의적 인간으로 성장시키는데 있다. 제 7차 교육과정에서는 21세기를 주도할 자율적이고 창의적인 한국인을 육성하기 위하여 자율과 창의에 바탕을 둔 학생 중심 교육과정을 지향하고 있다. 지금까지 대부분의 교육 현장에서는 창의성의 중요성을 인식하면서도 실제 학생들의 창의적 해석이나 창의적 표현보다는 개념화된 표현을 하는데 치우쳐 있고 학생의 능력에 적절한 창의성 교육은 거의 이루어지지 않고 있다. 따라서 창의적 표현이나 창의성 계발을 위한 새로운 지도방법 및 프로그램의 계발이 절실히 요구되고 있다. 이에 따라 본 연구의 목적은 다양한 재료를 활용한 표현 활동이 창의적인 표현력에 미치는 영향에 대하여 논의하고자 한다. 또한 이해, 감상, 표현 활동의 통합적 수업이 우리나라 전통문화의 가치를 발견하고 이해하며 자긍심을 갖도록 하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 I장에서는 연구의 필요성과 목적, 연구내용 및 방법연구의 제한점을 제시하였다. II장에서는 문헌 연구를 통하여 제 7차 교육과정, 전통 미술 교육과 민화, 창의성, 창의적 표현능력 향상을 위한 교육에 대하여 알아보았다. III장에서는 초등학교 5학년을 대상으로 6차시에 걸쳐 수업을 진행 한 후, 창의적 표현력 평가 기준 표에 의거하여 독창성, 유창성, 융통성, 정교성, 재정의, 개방성 정도가 측정되었다. 또한 학생들의 미술에 대한 총체적인 반응을 알아보고자 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문지의 내용은 미술교과에 대한 관심도, 전통미술에 대한 관심도, 민화에 대한 이해도, 전통 미술 표현, 표현 재료 활용도에 대한 문항으로 이루어졌으며, 자료의 통계 처리는 빈도분석을 이용하여 실시하였다. 본 연구에서 다양한 재료를 활용한 민화표현 수업을 통해 다음과 같은 결과물을 얻을 수 있었다. 첫째, 다양한 재료를 활용한 표현활동이 창의적 표현력의 하위요소인 독창성, 유창성, 융통성, 재정의, 정교성, 개방성에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 학생들은 이번 수업을 통해 창의적 표현활동에 대하여 자신감을 갖게 되었으며 창의적 표현활동에 흥미와 적극적인 태도를 가지게 되었다. 셋째, 민화의 이해, 감상, 표현활동을 통합한 수업을 통해 전통미에 대한 이해와 우리 문화의 우월성을 인지시키도록 하였으며, 이러한 사고의 확장은 학생들로 하여금 더 잘 느끼고 표현할 수 있도록 하였다. 본 연구에서는 창의적 표현력 향상을 위한 지도방안을 적용함으로써 미술교육에서 표현활동이 표현기술의 습득을 위한 것이 아니라, 학생들의 흥미를 유발함으로써 표현활동에 관심을 가질 수 있고 창의적 표현활동도 가능하다는 것을 발견하였다. 이는 앞으로 우리 미술교육이 지향해야 될 바를 제시해주는 기틀이 되길 바란다.;Due to increased information and knowledge, the international competition that is intense, a higher leveling knowledge and spirit function are demanded in the society of today. So the education of today should focus on the creative human being that will be able to dispose well in the future society. The goal of the fine arts education is not to make the artist as the fine technician that follows in steps only function or initiated method, but to make the person to discover the fine arts value from the social in changes, and to have varied experience. The final goal of the fine arts education is to make the students with the creative human being that keeps creative expression ability and a fine arts sensibility. The objective of 7th education curriculum is to make an autonomous and creative Korean who will lead 21st century. So this aims for the student center curriculum based on autonomy and originality. Until now, it has been recognized in education site of most that a creative ability is very important. But, the actual education has not improved an ability of creative interpretation or expression, but improved only an ability of conceptual expression. And, the creativity education that is appropriate in ability of the student was not almost accomplished. Consequently it is necessary to develop a teaching method and a program for improving a creative expression. The first objective of the research is to discuss about an affect that the expression activity that applies the various materials gives. And another objective is to help the students to discover and understand the pride of traditional Korean culture by the integrated study having a comprehension, appreciation and expression activity. In chapter I, it presented the needs, purpose, details and methodology of the study. In chapter II, it reviews literatures to find the 7th education curriculum, a traditional art education, a folk painting, and the methodology for improving creative expression ability. In chapter III, It wrote the study contents of 6 times for elementary school 5 grades. Also, It measured an originality, fluency, flexibility, elaboration and openness level by criterion table for creativity expression ability. It executed a question investigation to investigate the whole reaction of the students against the fine arts. The contents of question was composed with thequestion items about an interest regarding the fine arts subject and the traditional fine arts, an understanding of a folk painting, a traditional fine arts expression, and an application of expression material. The statistical analysis of data that is collected used a frequency analysis. The conclusion of this study is as follows: First, the expression activity using various materials caused a positive influence in an originality, fluency, flexibility, elaboration and openness. Second, the students had a pride about creative expression activity through this study and took an interest and active attitude in creative expression activity. Third, the students were known a comprehension of tradition art and superiority of our culture through the integrated study having a comprehension, appreciation and expression activity. So, the study has made the students to feel better and to express better by extension of ideas.
