한국화 감상 교육 방안

Abstract

미술 교육은 각 개인의 특성을 살려 잠재능력을 개발시키는데 기여한다. 미적 체험을 통한 인성 교육이 미술 교육에서 이루어진다고 볼 때, 미술 교육에 있어 감상하는 방법을 지도하는 것은 매우 중요하다. 본 논문은 한국화 미술 감상 지도를 위한 방법을 연구하고자 하였다. 현행미술 교과서에서 다루어지는 회화중 한국화비율은 30% 이내로 서양화에 비해 크게 떨어진다. 우리나라 교육이 해방 이후 서구 중심으로 진행되어 왔으므로 미술교육도 예외가 아니었던 것이다. 한국화 감상 교육이 필요한 이유는 바로 여기에 있다. 특별히 국수주의적 입장이나 민족주의적 입장이 아니라, 서양미술에 편중된 교육을 한국 미술에 대한 교육과의 균형을 맞추어 전개시켜야 한다고 느끼기 때문이다. 따라서 본 연구는 한국화의 개념, 특성의 이해를 통해 한국 미술의 본질을 규명해 보고, 현행 미술 교과서를 분석하여 한국화의 비율을 살펴, 학습 현장에서 수업시 학생들이 한국화를 얼마나 접하고, 어떤 작품을 주로 감상하고 교사들의 전통 미술 교육에 대한 교과서 만족도를 살펴보았다. 그 결과 한국화 감상 교육 지도에는 다음과 같은 연구과제가 선행되어야 할것으로 파악 되었다. 1. 한국화 감상 교육을 위해서는 교구, 교재가 다양하게 연구되어서 한국화의 이론, 배경 설명이 충분히 이루어져야 한다. 2. 교과서에 인용되는 한국화가 학생들의 발달 단계에 맞추어 재배열되는 것이 더 효과적일 것이다. 3. 교과서에 인용되는 한국화의 화가 및 작품이 좀 더 다양하게 제시되는 것이 좋겠다. 4. 끝으로 감상지도에는 교사의 창의력이 절대적으로 필요하므로 감상교육은 그야말로 인성교육의 측면에서 보다 섬세하고도 적극적인 프로그램이 채택되는 것이 바람직 할 것이다.;Education on fine arts helps to develop one's own latent faculties. Because esthetic experience via appreciation for fine arts enriches one's humanity, it is important to teach appreciation method for fine arts. Most textbooks for fine arts for middle and high school students give priority to western paintings and give a space less than 30% for Korean paintings. This may be a consequence of the introduction of western educational methods to our educational system. Consequently, we now need to stress the importance of the education of appreciation method for Korean paintings. The aim of this thesis is to study the appreciation method for Korean paintings. The meaning and the nature of Korean paintings was studied and the current textbooks for fine arts used in middle and high schools were analyzed. The degree of appreciation, the kinds of Korean paintings which students appreciate for were also investigated. We found that the following items were prerequiste for the education of the appreciation method of Korean paintings: 1. The number and Quality of the text and tools should be increased and diversified. The theory and background of the Korean paintings should be fully treated in the middle and high school textbooks. 2. The Korean Paintings adopted in the textbooks should be rearranged according to the degree of students' apprecative power. 3. The kinds of the Korean paintings adopted in the textbooks should be diversified. 4. Finally, the most important factor in the education of appreciation method for Korean paintings is teachers' creativity for the education. A new approach to the education of appreciation for Korean paintings is required in order to develop the students' humanity.
