우리나라 염색공예의 표현양식에 대한 연구

Abstract

인간의 정신세계를 美的으로 표현하려는 창작활동은 끊임없이 새로운 美를 추구하면서 계속되고 있다. 이러한 추구는 현대와 같이 풍부한 표현양식의 미술을 형성하고 있다. 이같이 다양화된 표현양식은 염색공예에서도 예외 일 수는 없어 그 표현기법이나 표현양식을 위한 연구범위나 방향이 확대되고 있는 현실이다. 따라서 본 연구자는 우리나라 염색공예의 표현기법과 표현양식을 분석 연구함으로써 앞으로의 방향을 모색하는데 본 연구의 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 이론적 배경을 고찰하고 우리나라 국전 공예부 제11회부터 30회까지 출품된 염색작품 149점을 대상으로 그의 기법과 양식을 이론적 배경에 근거를 두고 분류, 분석, 연구하여 얻은 결론을 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 모방의 조형행위는 그것이 회화이든, 염색이든 공통적으로 작가의 정신세계가 표출된 독창적 표현양식으로 형성되면서 변모하고 있다. 둘째, 염색작품의 표현기법이 해마다 다양화되고 있음에 따라서 보다 독창적인 기법의 개발의 여지가 있다. 세째, 구상적 표현에서 점차 작가의 내적 세계를 표출한 비구상적 표현이 증가하고 있으며 또 그의 조형적 가치도 인정되어지고 있다. 네째, 대부분의 작품이 미적 가치를 추구하는 일품공예로 흐르고 있다. 그러나 현대의 예술세계는 표현의 세계가 중점적이므로 탈공예적인 경향이 증가되고 있다. 다섯째, 양식상에 있어서 염색공예의 표현기법이 추상으로의 흐름은 인위적 표현의 자유화에 의한 것으로 추측되어진다.;The creative activities of fine arts which represent the spiritual world of human being with beauty continue to pursue the new beauty ceaselessly. This pursue forms the modern arts of abundant expression styles as in modern times. This variety of expression styles adpts to the dyeing technology, and the scope and direction of study for their methods and styles of expression are expanded. Hence, this researcher attempts to analyze and study the methods and styles of dyeing technical art, and to find the furthering trends. So, theoretical backgrounds are examined and 149 works displayed in technical arts part from 11st to 30th National Arts Fair of Korea are classified, analyzed and studied based on the theoretical backgrounds of their methods and styles. The results obtained are as follows: 1. In the behaviours of immitative foriming arts whether it is painting or dyeing, the spiritual world of artists have changed with formulating the creative styles of expression. 2. More creative methods should be developed even though the expression method of dyeing works show the wide variety of trends annually. 3. Unstructual representation showing the inner world of artists gradually from structual one is increased, and their formative values are established. 4. Most works trend to pursue the valve of beauty. In conclusions, it is desirable for the dyeing to be appreciated the formative value and to be improved. However, the works of dyeing should be replaced Into those to realize the essence of technical arts close to our lives.
