韓國 染色의 表現技法과 樣式에 관한 硏究

Abstract

예술에 있어서 필수적인 것은 創造的 活動인다. 創造活動에 있어서 새로운 표현기법과 표현양식 출현은 그 시대와 사회가 변화 했음을 반영해 주는 것이다. 현대에 와서 染色은 시대적 美의식의 흐름과 사회적 환경에 따라 표현기법과 표현양식의 다양성을 幅넓은 창작 행위를 통해 보여주고 있다. 나아가 美에의 추구를 위한 새로운 造形理念을 탄생시켰다. 따라서 본 연구는 우리나라 染色 작품의 경향을 알아보고, 표현기법과 표현양식과의 관계를 考察함으로서 染色作品의 방향을 알아보려는데 목적이 있다. 이 목적을 위하여 염색의 개념, 염색의 변천, 우리나라의 염색 등 이론적 배경을 살펴보고, 이를 토대로 國展 제 11회 부터 제 30회까지, 美術大展 제 1회 부터 제 2회까지의 염색작품을 중심으로 표현기법과 표현양식을 비교해 보았다. 그 결과 초기 작품들은 표현기법에 있어서 납방염 (蠟防染)이 대부분이었으며, 표현양식은 주로 寫實主義的 경향을 띤 강한 線과 딱딱한 形態를 편화(編畵)하여 나타낸 작품이 많았다. 후기로 오면서 점차 표현기법이 다양해져서 형태의 표현도 직선과 곡선의 사용으로 유연하고 단순한 감각을 살렸다. 또한 색채에 있어서도 초기에 비해 풍부한 느낌을 주는 작품들이 현저히 증가함을 알 수 있었다. 그러므로 오늘날 우리나라 염색미술이 표현기법과 표현양식에 있어서 과거의 초로만 사용하는 관습에서 벗어나 작가의 개성과 미의식에 따라 변화를 추구하는 조형예술로서의 의미로 확대되었다. 그리고 이러한 추세는 앞으로 계속 심화, 확산될 것으로 사료된다.;In art, creative activities are essential element. In the creative activities, the new techniques and modes of expression reflect the change of times and society. Following the stream of aesthetic consciousness and the social environment, the variety of expression in techniques and modes are shown in dyeing through the wide creative activities in recent years. Moreover, the eyeing has created the new formative ideology for the pursuit of beauty. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to examine the trend of dyeing works in Korea, and its direction through inquiry of the relation between the techniques and modes of expression. For this purpose, the theoretical background of dyeing such as concept, change and actual dyeing in Korea has been studied, and on this basis, comparison was made between the techniques and modes of expression appeared in the dyeing works from 11th to 30th National Art Exhibitions, and from the 1st to 2nd Great Art Exhibitions. As a result, the works in the early stage are mostly in anti-wax dyes in techniques and mode of expression, and has a trend of realism spreading out the strong line and stiff shape. Coming to the later years, the expression techniques has gradually become versatile and the expression of shape has changed into more flaxible and simple effect by using straight and curved lines. Also in colours, the works with abundant feeling have been increased comparing with the works in the early period. These days, the dyeing alt of Korea, coming out of the traditional technique using wax, has expanded the meaning of formative arts which pursue variety according to artist's individuality and aesthetic consciousness, and this trend is expected to be deeply expanded in the future.
