中學校 美術科 學習環境에 따른 學習活動 比較 硏究

Abstract

현대 우리가 살아가고 있는 시대는 모든 분야에서 복잡한 격동과 급진적인 변화가 이루어지고 있다. 급변하는 국 · 내외 정세속에 기계화된 사회, 물질만능주의 풍조, 여과되지 않은 정보 홍수등, 급격한 산업사회로의 발전은 오늘날 청소년들에게 물질적인 풍요는 가져다 주었으나 주체적인 정신문화의 빈곤을 초래하였으며, 그 결과 가치관의 혼란에서 오는 도덕성, 인간성 상실이라는 심각한 사회문제를 낳게 되었다. 이러한 시대적 문제를 해결하고 올바른 가치관을 확립시키는 것이 교육의 중요한 과제가 되고 있으며 그 교육의 일환으로서 미술은 청소년들의 올바른 성장발달을 조성하는데 중요한 역할을 한다고 본다. 그러므로 미술에 의한 인간형성의 의미를 가지는 미술교육은 활동의 주체인 학생이 흥미를 가지고 의욕적인 활동을 할 수 있는 환경이 구성되어야 한다. 이에 자연환경과 밀접한 관계를 맺고 있는 강원지역의 미술교육과 인위적 환경으로부터 영향을 받고 있는 서울지역의 미술교육이 실질적으로 어떻게 이루어지고 있는지 조사해 볼 필요성을 느꼈다. 따라서 이 연구는 서울지역과 강원지역의 중학교에서 이루어지고 있는 미술교육 현장에서 환경에 따른 학습활동의 제반사항을, 설문지를 통하여 비교분석함으로써 지역간의 미술교육의 차이를 연구하여 보다 나은 미술교육의 발전을 위한 평가자료를 마련하는데 그 목적을 둔다. 연구방법으로는 서울지역과 강원지역에서 목적을 가지고 뽑은 중학교 미술교사 서울지역 157명과 강원지역 102명을 대상으로 설문지 조사를 하였으며, 조사결과는 백분율로 통계처리하여 χ^(2)을 통하여 배경에 따른 유의도를 검증하였다. 그 자료조사를 연구분석하여 보면, 제일 먼저 학습환경에 관한 사항으로 물리적 환경요건인 교구 및 교재 보유량, 시설은 강원지역이 열악하다. 그러나 미술교과에 대한 흥미도는 서울지역이 강원지역보다 떨어지고 있어 사회환경의 영향으로 보여진다. 다음으로 학습활동에 있어서 서울지역은 실내공간과 밀접한 관계를 맺고 있는 학습이 이루어지고 있고 강원지역은 자연환경과 부합된 학습이 잘 이루어지며 재료도 다양하게 이용하고 있는 점은 지역의 특성에서 오는 것이라 본다. 끝으로 미술교육에 관한 제반문제로 주당 수업시수와 업무량 과다, 교구부족, 학부모들의 미술교육에 관한 이해부족 등이 미술교육을 전개하는데 있어서의 어려움인 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 보다나은 미술교육을 위해서는 다음과 같은 사항들이 검토되어져야 한다. 학생들의 미술교과에 흥미를 갖도록 학습분위기가 활성화되어져야 하며 획일적이고 편중된 지도를 지양하고, 경직된 교육으로부터 탈피하여야 할 것이다. 또한 물리적 환경면에서 낙후된 강원지역은 교사와 학생과의 유대관계, 자연과 밀접한 교육환경등 지역적 특성에서 오는 장점을 미술교육에 적절히 이용해야 할 것이다. 각 지역마다 지역의 특수성을 고려한 독자적 미술교육 계획안이 마련되어 그 지역마다 가지고 있는 문화재와 전통문화등 교육자원을 최대한 활용하여 폭넓은 미술교육이 이루어져야 겠다.;In the mordern times when we are leading a life, the complicated violent movement and radical changes occur in all the fields. In the rapidly changing domestic and foreign situations, the sudden development to the industrialized society including the mechanized society, the tendency of the principle that naterial is everything and the information flood which was not filtered, etc. brought material richness to the youth, but it resulted in the poverty of independent spiritual culture, and thereupon the result led to the severe social problem which is the loss of morality and humanity resulting from the confusion on the view of social value. To solve this problem and to establish the right value view are becoming the important subject of education, and it is considered that the fine art, as a link of the education, plays the important role in assisting the right growth of youth in its development. Therefore, in order to achieve the meaningful human formation by neans of fine arts, the art education should be able to provide the right circumstances with a student who could perform the free andd ambitious creative activity. Thus, the author felt that it is necessary to examine how the fine art education in Kangwon province which has close relation with the natural circumstances and that of Seoul which is being influenced by the artificial circumstances are being conducted substantially. The purpose of this study is to prepare the evaluation data for the development of a better fine art education by studying the differences of fine art education, by means of the comparison and analysis of all the factors of learning activity based on the circumstances of fine art education which is held in the middle schools of Seoul and Kangwon area through the questionnaire. As for the research, the author distributed the questionnaire to 157 fine art teachers at middle school in Seoul area and 102 fine art teachers at middle school in Kangwon area. From this study, the author have recognized the varied degree of attendants in the fine art educations according to the reginal conditions. The retention quantity of teaching instrunents ＆ teaching materials and facilities, which are physical and circumstantial factors, are poor in Kangwon area. On the other hand, the interest degree about fine are subjejct is lower in Seoul area than Kangwon area. So, it seems to be the influence of social circumstances. We get sone special points from reginal circumstances that the art class in Seoul area is conducted the interior of the classroom and that of Kangwon area is in accord with the natural enviroment with various art materials. In conclusion, all the problems about art education, seem to be derived from the excess of teaching time per week, business quantity, the lack of teaching instrument, and the lack of understanding of the students parents. Therefore, for the better fine arts education, fol lowing particulars must be examined: the study atmosphere, will have to be activated, and the uniform, preponderant guidance and the tough education must be reduced, so that the student's interest could bbe stimulated in the fine art subjects. In addition, in Kangwon area where the aspect of physical circumstance falls behind, the merit resulting from the area features such as relationship between teachers and students and the educational circumstance which is exposed to the nature etc. will have to be used in the fine art education properly. By preparing independent art education programs depending on the special nature of various areas, and utilizing all the possible resources such as cultural property and the element of traditional culture, more meaningful fine art education could be fully achieved.
