Abstract

The purpose of the art education is to develop the plasticity deepening and increasing the aesthetic consciousness and to cultivate the beautiful emotion that means the emotional inclination responding to the beautiful object and to develop the creativity which is the spritual ability to produce the various ideas based upon the abundant imagination and originality. For a long time the art has been regarded as a creative activity but it is much more interested in cultivating the creative imagination everybody possesed in all educational field recently. It is the great requirement of modern society to provide a education. The department of art which is dealing with the unique individuality is also the most important teaching course to fulfill the development of creativity. However, in painting, in spite of the creativity is emphasized a s the same word as art. It could not obtain the effectiveness as, due to the very poor educatinal environment. The recognition which would obtain the creativity naturally without any efforts, compared to other field studies in science and pedagogy may take a long time. The creative thought and discovery is not to develop under the condition of non-interference without doing nothing at all, but to be achieved by imagination and associating between experience, perception and conception. Accordingly, for the art education to improve creativity is by all means based upon the scientific, systematic, and positive teaching guidance with the various medium including the importation of the abundant conceptional data. The purpose of this study is to seek the practical direction for extending the creativity using the photograph medium among the various medium in the painting expression. The method of this study is as follows : (1) To study the relations of photograph to art theoretically (2) To study the relations of conception to creativity in painting expression. (3) To teach the student using the teaching program composed by the conceptional method through photograph medium. (4) To review and analyze the result of the made-up question and the student's work. A total of 185 students, 97 boys and 88 girls in second grade of Kae-woong middle school, in Ku-ro Ku, in Seoul, were sampled for this study. The results of the study are as follows: 1. In conceptional phase, the importation of photograph medium helped to get the direction by providing some limitation to consider the drawing work, which guided them to creative, imaginative, and practical expression. 2. The creative plasticity improvement was possible because they expressed considering the harmoney of the photograph materials and their own drawing, while associating it uniquely by mobilizing the imagination and perception through the given photograph matreials. 3. The importation of the third medium in the painting expression brought the more positive participation of taking a lesson by stimulating their expressive desire. 4. In painting, it could not only express the content of their intention more effectively, but also expressed the various and unique expression to use the technique and materials freely by extending the width of expression. 5. It could compose the painting more densely and systematically to repeat the process of reunion and correct the photograph needed, expressing the feeling and thinking through seeing many kind of photographs. It also could improve the imagination of students. With the exception of this method of conception through photograph in this study, in painting expression, there are the method to compose the picture by using only the given plasticity element with magazine's photograph and famous picture without relating the original photograph. As studied above, in the painting expression, it could not be realized the desirable art education and extended the creativity of students until the various teaching method would be studied through many kind of photographs continually.;미술교육의 목적은 미의식의 심화와 증대를 가져다주는 조형성의 개발, 미적대상에 반응하는 정서적 성향을 의미하는 미적 정서의 육성, 그리고 독창성 및 풍부한 상상력을 바탕으로 다양한 아이디어를 산출하는 정신적 능력인 창의성의 계발이다. 오랫동안 미술은 창의성을 높이는 활동으로 생각되었으며 최근 들어서는 모든 교육의 분야에서 우리 모두에게 내재하는 창의적인 사고력 육성에 대해 관심을 기울이고 있다. 이는 격변하는 현대 사회가 교육에 기대하는 커다란 요구이며, 개인의 독특한 개성을 중요시하는 미술과는 창의성을 개발하는데 가장 중요한 역할을 하는 교과이다. 그러나, 미술에 있어서의 창의성은 미술과 동일한 단어로 여겨질 정도로 강조되고 있으면서도 실제 교육 현장에서는 턱없이 빈약한 미술교육 환경과 '창의성' 이란 무조건 내버려 두면 저절로 길러지는 것이라는 대다수 교사들의 잘못된 인식 속에 오랜 시간 -교육학이나 과학등 다른 교과에 비해- 그 동안 그 중요성을 강조한 만큼 그 실효를 거두고 있지 못했다. 창의적인 생각과 발견은 아무것도 없는 상태나 방임적인 상태에서 저절로 길러지는 것이 결코 아니며, 경험과 지각, 개념들간의 연합과 연상, 상상 등에 의해서 이루어지는 것이다. 그러므로 창의성을 향상시키는 미술교육을 위해서는 풍부한 자료의 도입, 여러 다양한 매체의 활용 등 교사의 과학적이고 체계적이며 적극적인 지도가 반드시 뒷받침 되어야 할 것이다. 본 연구의 목적은 회화 표현의 방법에 있어서 현대의 다양한 매체 중 '사진' 매체를 이용하여 보다 실제적인 창의성 신장의 방향을 모색해 보는 데 있다. 본 연구의 방법은 먼저 1) 사진과 미술과의 관계와 2) 회화표현에 있어 사진을 이용한 방법이 창의력에 미치는 영향을 고찰해 보고, 3) '사진'을 통한 발상법의 수업안을 구성하여 학생들을 지도한 후, 4) 학생들의 작품과 설문지를 분석하여 그 결과를 검토했다. 본 연구의 대상은 서울시 구로구 소재 개웅중학교 2학년 남학생 97명, 여학생 88명, 총 185명으로 한다. 연구에 대한 결과를 정리하면 다음과 같다. 1. 사진 매체의 도입은 학생들이 여러 가지 작품을 구상하는데 구상 범위의 제한을 제시해 줌으로 그림의 방향잡기가 비교적 쉬우며, 사고가 구체화되어 보다 실제적이고 창의적인 상상 표현을 유도했다. 2. 학생들은 주어진 사진 자료를 제나름대로의 시지각과 상상력을 동원하여 독창적으로 연상하여 표현하며, 자료에 나타난 조형적 특징과 자신이 그린 부분의 조화를 고려하면서 표현하는등 창조적 조형성 계발이 가능했다. 3. 작품 제작시 여러 가지 재료와 기법을 자유롭게 사용하는 것은 표현의 폭을 넓혀주어 자신이 의도하는 내용을 효과적으로 표현할 수 있게 해줄 뿐 아니라, 더욱 다양하고 개성있는 표현을 가능하게 했다. 4. 여러 종류의 다양한 사진들을 보고 그 사진으로부터 연상되는 생각과 느낌을 덧붙여 그리거나 필요한 사진을 다시 재조합, 수정하는 과정의 반복은 학생들의 사고력을 향상 시켜주며, 화면을 더욱 밀도 있고 짜임새 있게 구성할 수 있게 했다. 회화 표현에 있어서 사진을 통한 발상법에는 본고에서 다루었던 지도 방법 이외에도 대상을 정확히 분별할 수 없는 명화 사진이나 잡지 사진의 일부분을 본래의 사진과 관계없이 주어진 조형 요소만을 중심으로 자유롭게 연상하여 화면을 구성하는 방법등도 있다. 이상에서와 같이 미술 표현에 있어서 사진등 여러 가지 다양한 매체에 대한 적극적인 활용과 다각적인 지도 방법이 계속적으로 연구될 때, 비로소 학생들의 창의성은 신장될 것이며 나아가 바람직한 미술교육이 실현될 수 있을 것이다.
