中學校 韓國畵 授業의 質的向上을 위한 實態分析 硏究

Abstract

The aim of education of Korean Painting in Middle School is to let students understand. The traditional beauty of our people so that they grow up as Korean with identity in this globalizing era. But there's a problem of effective way of leading classes because of many problems in the real classes. This research is pointed to find ways to of better quality of Korean Art class with the help of questions. And present art text books as it's presumed that freshmen of Middle School is important period for good understanding about Korean Art by learning basic knowledge of Korean Art and grasping the right concept. First, analize and compare the present art textbooks.Secondly,analize by questions to the presemt teachers of freshmen of Middle Schools.The results are as follows. 1.The value and understanding of Korean Traditional Art are emphasized in present Middle School process.This process consists of expression of traditional art including Korean Art expression that is rooted in traditional expression,the act of appreciation,the love of our culture of art and its activation. 2. To compare with the importance of traditional art in educational process,the percentage of Korean Painting in the Middle School isn't enough.Especially the explanation of technique and the usage of the implements aren't described in detail. As a result, there's a difficulty for students to self-study of korean art. 3. As it's deduced, basic concepts, supplimentary pictures. And many explanation of techniques should be described in detail. 4. The present Korean Painting classes now are not well accomplis hed because of bad furnishings in the school. The teachers don't understand enough.There's a tendency that the other teachers aren't good at using the techniques or the usage of the implements.The principal or parents are not enough interested. As a result,teachers can't lead a good class. To suggest the ways of improving the Korean Painting class of freshmen in Middle School. 1. The textbooks must have the systemetic explanation about the technique,character and historical background to let students make good use of textbook in the actual class. 2. It's recommemded that educational substance should be improved. So that the students could understand easily through VTR substance the missing parts of class in actual class in this era of visual communication. 3. It's necessary for the teachers to have more opportunity to be educated so that they improve the ability of teaching.;중학교 한국화 교육의 교육목적은 우리민족의 전통의 미를 이해하고 표현하여 세계화, 국제화 되어가는 시대상황 속에서 주체성을 가진 한국인을 양성하는데에 있다. 그러나 실제 교육현장에서는 여러가지 문제점 때문에 효과적인 수업운영이 어렵다는데에서 문제가 제기된다. 본 연구는 특히 중학교 1학년 시기가 한국화의 기초지식을 습득하고, 정확한 개념파악을 통하여 한국화에 대한 올바른 이해를 할 수 있는 중요한 시기라고 여겨지는 바, 현행 미술 교과서와 설문지등을 토대로 한국화 수업의 질적향상을 위한 방향모색을 하는데 출점을 맞춰 연구하였다. 먼저, 현행 미술 교과서에 대한 비교분석을 하고, 두번째로 일선 중학교에 재직중인 중학교 1학년 미술교사를 중심으로 설문지를 통한 조사분석 방법을 병행하여 사용하였다. 연구에 대한 결과를 정리하면 다음과 같다. 1, 현행 중학교 교육과정에서는 우리나라 전통미술의 이해, 가치등을 강조, 특히 우리 민족의 전통적인 표현에 뿌리를 둔 한국화의 표현활동을 비롯한 민족미술의 표현과 감상활동의 내용, 민족 미술문화에 대한 폭넓은 애호정신과 이를 실천화 하려는 내용으로 구성되었다. 2. 교육과정에 있어서 전통미술에 대한 중요성을 강조하고 있는점에 비교해볼때, 중학교1학년 미술교과서는 한국화에 관한 비중을 전체 내용의 구성에 비추어보아 충분하다고 볼 수 없다. 특히 기법 해설과 용구 사용법에 대한 자세한 설명이 부족하여, 학생들의 한국화 자율학습을 유도하는데 어려움을 주고 있는 것으로 분석되어진다. 3. 이상의 연구분석을 토대로 유추되는 바 중학교 1학년 미술교과서의 한국화부분의 내용은 무엇보다도 기본개념과 참고도판, 그리고 여러가지 기법에 대한 해설과 용구 사용법이 자세하게 기재되어야 함을 알 수 있다. 4. 현재 중학교에서 이루어지고 있는 한국화 실기수업은 열악한 학교 시설, 설비의 영향으로 충분히 이루어지지 못하고 있으며, 교사들의 한국화 수업에 대한 인식도가 낮고, 타 전공교사들의 기법이나 용구 사용법이 미숙하여 한국화 수업을 기피하는 경향으로 나타났다. 또한 학생들의 경우 용구준비등이 미흡하고, 학교장이나 부모들의 관심이 부족한 관계로 원활한 수업이 진행되어지지 못하고 있는 것으로 드러났다. 따라서 중학교1학년 한국화 수업의 질적 향상을 위한 방향모색으로는 첫째, 실제로 교육 현장에서 제대로 교과서를 활용할 수 있도록 체계적인 한국화의 역사적 배경, 특징 및 기법에 대한 체계적인 설명이 충분히 교과서에 수록되어야 하겠다. 또한 학생 참고도판의 수를 늘리는 방안도 함께 검토되어야 하겠다. 둘째, 현대가 영상매체 시대인 만큼 실제 수업에서 충분히 다루어지지 못한 내용은 Video 자료를 통하여 학생들이 쉽게 이해할 수 있도록 교육자료 개발이 활발히 이루어지는 것이 바람직하리라 본다. 셋째, 교육부 주관하에 각종 연수기회를 넓혀 교사의 지도능력을 향상 시켜 나가는데 총력을 기울여야 할 것으로 사료된다.
