Abstract
This textbook is designed to help Korean EFL kindergarten young learners ages 6-7 (WIDA Level 2) develop important social skills and communication skills in English. Each unit revolves around a theme that is relevant to children’s everyday lives. Through engaging stories, songs, cooking activities, crafts, and games, students explore vocabulary and language functions related to each topic. The goal is to help children learn conversational English and vital skills like cooperation, empathy, problem-solving, and respect for others. Target learners: Children 6 to 7 years old attend Korean kindergarten. Proficiency: Level 2 according to WIDA. Learning context: English class runs for an hour, twice a week in private kindergarten of 10~12 students.
