중등 음악 교사의 온라인 플랫폼 국악 교육 콘텐츠 활용 실태 및 인식 분석

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 음악 교과에서의 온라인 플랫폼 국악 교육 콘텐츠의 활용에 대한 현직 중등학교 음악 교사의 실태와 인식을 분석하는 것에 있다. 이를 위해 전국의 중등학교 음악 교사를 대상으로 설문 조사를 시행하였으며, 수집된 응답 중 105부의 응답을 연구 문제에 따라 분석하였다. 설문지는 연구 대상자의 일반적 배경과 온라인 플랫폼 국악 교육 콘텐츠 활용 실태와 인식을 알아보기 위한 문항 및 개방형 서술형 문항으로 구성되었다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같이 정리할 수 있다. 첫째, 중등 음악 교사의 온라인 플랫폼 국악 교육 콘텐츠 활용 실태를 조사한 결과 음악 교사가 인지하고 있는 국악 교육 콘텐츠는 대부분 실제 사용으로 이어지지 않았다. 중등 음악 교사 105명 중 국악 교육 콘텐츠를 알고 있다고 응답한 음악 교사는 96명으로 나타났으며, 이 중 30%가 자신이 알고 있는 온라인 플랫폼 국악 교육 콘텐츠를 사용해 본 것으로 밝혀졌다. 연구에 참여한 음악 교사들은 각 영역에 활용할 수 있는 다양한 온라인 플랫폼 국악 교육 콘텐츠에 대한 정보 및 이해가 부족하다는 점에 가장 많이 응답했다. 이는 국내 음악 수업에서 실질적인 주요 활동에 활용될 만큼 국악 교육의 e-Learning 적용은 활성화되지 않았다는 현실을 보여주고 있는 결과라고 할 수 있다. 둘째, 음악 교과에서의 연주, 감상, 창작 영역의 활용 방법에 대한 응답을 보면, 교사들은 학생들의 음악 활동에 필요한 음원, 영상, 글, 그림과 같은 자료들을 제공하는 방법으로 국악 관련 온라인 교육 콘텐츠를 활용하고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 특히, 세 영역 중 감상 영역 수업에서 국악 교육 콘텐츠를 가장 많이 활용해 본 것으로 나타났다. 글, 그림 등의 자료를 제공하는 방법으로만 한계적으로 사용되는 이유는 현재까지 개발된 온라인 국악 교육 콘텐츠는 대부분 교육적 목적에 맞추어 개발된 프로그램이나 음악 수업에서 실질적인 주요 활동에 활용될 만큼 온라인 플랫폼 국악 교육 콘텐츠 성능이 부족하다는 점을 한계점으로 보았다. 음악 교과에서의 온라인 콘텐츠는 학생들에게 지식을 전달하는 하나의 중요한 매체인 만큼, 다양한 콘텐츠를 선별하고 시대에 맞는 재구성 및 내용의 업데이트로 품질이 개선되어야 할 필요가 있다. 셋째, 온라인 플랫폼 국악 교육 콘텐츠 교육에 대한 중등 음악 교사들의 인식을 살펴보면 대부분의 음악 교사들은 온라인 국악 교육 콘텐츠 활용 음악 수업의 필요성을 높게 인식하고 있었다. 또한, 중등 음악 교사 105명 중 99명은 온라인 국악 교육 콘텐츠 활용에 대해 긍정적인 인식을 가지고 있다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 국악 관련 온라인 콘텐츠 활용은 학생들의 음악에 대한 흥미를 향상시키고, 국악 수업 참여 및 동기 유발 자체가 음악에 대한 흥미로 이어질 수 있다는 점이 음악 교과에서 국악 교육 콘텐츠 활용의 주된 효과성으로 언급되었다. 넷째, 온라인 플랫폼 국악 교육 콘텐츠 개선의 필요함이 나타났다. 본 연구 결과를 보면 각 영역에서의 국악 교육 콘텐츠 활용에 대한 만족도는 다소 높았으나, 실제 음악 교과에서의 영역별 국악 교육 콘텐츠 활용 여부 및 빈도의 응답 수는 적은 편이었다. 이는 자유 기술형 응답에서‘콘텐츠 성능(품질) 강화’가 가장 높은 수치를 보였으며 이에 따라 프로그램 활용법 안내, 교육적 활용에서 어떤 부분을 고려해야 하는지 섬세한 방안을 구축하여 온라인 국악 교육 콘텐츠 활용 교육이 더욱 강화되어야 한다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로, 본 연구에서는 온라인 플랫폼 국악 교육 콘텐츠를 활용한 음악 수업의 개선 및 활성화를 위한 다양한 측면의 방안을 제언하였다. 본 연구를 통해 도출된 결과가 음악 교과에서 국악 관련 온라인 교육 콘텐츠의 활발한 활용을 위한 중요한 자료가 되어, 향후 국악 교육 콘텐츠를 활용이 음악 교과에서 학생들의 다양한 음악적 경험을 위한 효과적인 수업 방법으로써 활용될 수 있기를 기대한다.;The purpose of this study is to analyze the current status and perceptions of middle school music teachers regarding the use of online platform Gugak (Korean traditional music) education content in music classes. A survey was conducted with middle school music teachers nationwide, and 105 responses were analyzed according to the research questions. The questionnaire consisted of items to investigate the general background of the respondents and the usage status and perceptions of online platform Gugak education content, along with open-ended descriptive questions. The results of this study can be summarized as follows: First, an investigation into the actual usage of online platform Gugak education content by middle school music teachers revealed that most of the content recognized by the teachers did not lead to actual usage. Among the 105 participating teachers, 96 were aware of Gugak education content, and of these, only 30% had used the online platform Gugak education content they knew about. The teachers frequently responded that they lacked information and understanding of the diverse online platform Gugak education content available for use in various areas. This indicates that the application of e-Learning for Gugak education has not been activated to a level that it is utilized as a primary activity in domestic music classes. Second, regarding the methods of using Gugak-related online education content in the areas of performance, appreciation, and creation in music classes, it was found that teachers were using these contents mainly to provide materials such as sound sources, videos, texts, and images necessary for students' musical activities. Particularly, the appreciation area was the most frequent area where Gugak education content was utilized. The limited use of such content through materials like texts and images was attributed to the fact that the currently developed online Gugak education content lacks the performance to be effectively utilized as a primary activity in music classes. As online content in music subjects is an important medium for conveying knowledge to students, there is a need to improve quality through the selection of diverse content and updates and reconstructions appropriate for the times. Third, examining the perceptions of middle school music teachers regarding online platform Gugak education content, it was found that most teachers recognized the necessity of utilizing online Gugak education content in music classes. Additionally, 99 out of 105 middle school music teachers had a positive perception of using online Gugak education content. The main effectiveness of using Gugak-related online content in music subjects was mentioned as enhancing students' interest in music and motivating participation in Gugak classes, which could lead to increased interest in music overall. Fourth, the necessity for improving online platform Gugak education content was identified. Although satisfaction with the use of Gugak education content in each area was relatively high, the actual number of responses regarding the usage and frequency of such content in specific areas of music classes was low. In the open-ended responses, 'enhancing content performance (quality)' showed the highest rate, indicating that detailed plans need to be established, including program usage guidance and educational applications. Therefore, the use of online Gugak education content should be further strengthened. Based on these results, this study suggests various measures for the improvement and activation of music classes utilizing online platform Gugak education content. The findings of this study are expected to serve as important data for the active use of Gugak-related online education content in music subjects, and to be effectively utilized as a method for providing diverse musical experiences to students in future music classes.
