BL(Boy’s Love) 드라마의 시청만족도 및 참여행위에 영향을 미치는 요인

Abstract

BL (Boys’ Love) 드라마는 최근 산업적으로 큰 성장을 이루며 상당한 경제적 가치를 창출하고 있다. 이와 함께 BL 드라마 시청에 대한 학술적 연구가 이루어져 왔다. 그러나 기존 연구는 대부분 BL 드라마의 문화적, 사회적 배경에 초점을 맞추며 문학 비판에 중점을 두었으며, BL 드라마의 수용과 소비에 대한 연구는 제한적이다. 이전 연구들은 BL 드라마 시청 동기를 탐구했지만, BL 드라마 시청자의 심리적 상태에 대해 깊이 분석하지 않았다. 본 연구는 BL 드라마 시청자들의 심리적 임파워먼트 상태와 시청 만족도, 참여행위을 경험하는데에 어떤 영향을 미치는 요인으로써 프로게이 태도, 동일시, 여성 지향성 및 BL의 사회적 시청을 고려하고자 한다. 따라서 본 연구는 심리적 임파워먼트 이론을 적용하여 여성 시청자가 BL 드라마와 관련 콘텐츠와 상호 작용하는 메커니즘을 조사하고자 한다. 선행 연구를 기반으로, 본 연구는 4개의 독립 변수가 심리적 임파워먼트에 미치는 영향을 조사한다. 또한, BL 드라마 시청 과정에서 심리적 임파워먼트가 시청자의 시청 만족도와 참여행위에 미치는 매개효과를 탐구했다.;BL (Boys' Love) dramas have experienced significant industrial growth in recent years, generating substantial economic value. Concurrently, scholarly research on the viewership of BL dramas has been conducted. However, existing studies primarily focus on the cultural and societal backgrounds of BL dramas and tend to emphasize literary criticism, while research on the various forms of reception and consumption of BL dramas remains limited. Previous studies have explored the motivations behind BL drama viewership but have not extensively analyzed the psychological states of BL drama viewers. Moreover, they have failed to address the role of relatively non-mainstream women's literature, such as BL dramas, in women's lives or the deeper significance of women's consumption of male-oriented media. Therefore, this study aims to apply the theory of psychological empowerment to investigate the mechanisms through which women viewers engage with BL dramas and related content. Building upon prior research, this study examines the influence of four independent variables on psychological empowerment. Additionally, it explores the mediating effects of psychological empowerment on viewer satisfaction and participatory behavior during the process of watching BL dramas.
