AI 음악프로그램 마젠타(Magenta)를 적용한 음악 창작 수업 지도안 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 AI 음악프로그램 마젠타(Magenta)를 적용한 음악 창작 수업 지도안을 개발하고 연구의 현장 적합성을 검증하는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 이를 위해 개발된 수업 지도안에 대한 교육 전문가 3인에게 내용 타당도 검증을 받았고, 현장 적합성 검증을 위해 설문지를 제작하여 학교 현장 음악 교사 3인에게 지도안의 최종 검증을 받았다. 이러한 절차를 거쳐 본 연구에서 도출된 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 본 연구의 수업 지도안은 총 8차시에 걸쳐 진행되며 세부적으로, <1차시>, <2차시> 에서는 ‘AI 음악프로그램' 에 대해서 알아보는 시간으로서 AI 음악프로그램 ‘마젠타’를 이해하고 ‘음의 밀도’를 구분하여 창작할 수 있는 방법을 소개하며 음악에 등장하는 악기의 분위기와 특징을 이해하고 감정과 연관 지어 설명하도록 유도하였다. <3차시>, <4차시> 에서는 ‘나'에 대해서 알아보는 시간으로서, 내면의 나와 또는 외부 환경과 가장 어울리는 선율을 찾고 개성 있게 창작할 수 키워드를 ‘인사이드(Inside) 감정’으로 선정하여 하루의 느낀 감정들에 대해 탐색해보고 표현해보는 시간을 가졌다. 이어지는 <5차시>, <6차시> 는 내 주변의 사람들(가족, 친구) 또는 환경을 이해하고 마지막 <7차시>, <8차시> 에서는 지금까지 내가 느낀 ‘인사이드(Inside) 감정’들을 바깥으로 ‘표출(아웃, out)’하는 의미에서 ‘인사이드(Inside) 감정 아웃(out)’을 사용하여 서로의 감정을 공유하고 소통하는 내용을 지도안에 포함시켰다. 둘째, 본 수업 지도안에 대한 내용 타당성을 검증한 결과, 새롭게 주목받는 4차 산업혁명의 AI 기술을 음악교육에 접목시키는 기획력이 돋보이고 내용 구성이 적절하다고 평가받았으며 본 연구의 학습 목표와 학습 내용의 일치도가 매우 높다고 판단되어 내용 타당도를 확보하였다고 평가받았다. 셋째, 본 수업 지도안에 대한 현장 적합성을 검증한 결과, 현장 적합성 문항에 대한 전체 평균은 4.2 점(5점 만점)으로 나타나서, AI 음악프로그램 마젠타의 이해와 선율 구성 영역과 학습자의 자기주도 학습 활동을 강조하고 있다는 점이 긍정적으로 인식되고 있음을 보여주었다. 상기 내용을 종합하여, 2015 개정 음악과 교육과정에서는 학생들의 자발적 수업 참여를 골자로 하는 활동 중심 수업이 중요시되고 있기 때문에 AI 시대의 변화되는 학교 음악교육에 부응하기 위하여 창의성과 감수성을 동시에 개발할 수 있는 수업안을 기획한 것은 본 연구 방향과도 부합되고 효과적인 교수학습 모델이 될 수 있음을 제시하였다. 다만, 본 연구에서는 AI 음악프로그램 마젠타(Magenta)에 국한되어 다양한 음악 창작 프로그램을 추가로 제시하지 못한 점은 연구의 한계에 해당한다. 따라서, 향후 연구에서는 온라인을 통한 사전 학습과 오프라인을 통한 교실 수업에서 교사와 모둠 및 개인별 토론식 강의를 진행하는 ‘플립 러닝 (flipped learning)’ 수업 방식을 지도안에 병행하거나, 각 차시 과정에서 교사의 지도 활동 지침을 보다 더 세밀하게 구성하면 더욱 바람직한 지도안이 될 것이라고 제안한다. ;The purpose of this study is to develop a teaching plan for music creation class applying AI music program Magenta and to verify the field suitability of the study. For this purpose, the validity of the contents was verified by three education experts on the developed teaching plan, and a questionnaire was produced to verify the field suitability and the final verification of the teaching plan was obtained from three school music teachers. The conclusions of this study through these procedures are as follows. First, the teaching plan of this study is conducted for 8 sessions in total, and in detail, <1st session> and <2nd session>, the time to learn about 'AI music program' is introduced to understand AI music program 'Magenta' and introduce a method to create by distinguishing 'density of sound', and to understand the atmosphere and characteristics of musical instruments appearing in music and to explain them in connection with emotion. In <3rd poem> and <4th poem>, the time to learn about 'me' was given to search for melody that most matches with the inner me or the external environment and to select keywords that can be created in a unique way as 'Inside emotion' to explore and express the feelings of the day. The following <5th and 6th> are to understand people (family, friends) or environment around me and to share and communicate with each other in the last <7th and 8th>, in the sense that 'Inside emotion' I have felt so far is 'out' and 'Inside emotion out'. Second, as a result of verifying the validity of the contents of this lesson plan, it was evaluated that the planning ability to integrate the newly noticed AI technology of the 4th Industrial Revolution into music education was outstanding and the content composition was appropriate, and the content validity was secured because it was judged that the learning goal and the learning contents of this study were very high. Third, as a result of verifying the field suitability of the teaching plan, the overall average of the field suitability questions was 4.2 points (5 out of 5 points), indicating that the understanding of the AI music program Magenta and the emphasis on the melodic composition area and the learner's self-directed learning activities are positively recognized. In conclusion, since the activity-centered class with students' voluntary participation in the 2015 revised music curriculum is important, it is suggested that the plan to develop creativity and sensitivity at the same time in order to meet the changing school music education in the AI era can be an effective teaching and learning model in line with the direction of this study. However, this study is limited to the AI music program Magenta, and the fact that various music creation programs have not been presented additionally is a limitation of the study. Therefore, future studies suggest that if the 'flipped learning' teaching method, which conducts discussion-based lectures with teachers in the classroom through online and offline classes, is combined with the teaching plan, or if the teaching guidance of teachers is more detailed in each class, it will be a more desirable teaching plan.
