다중지능이론에 기초하여 테크놀로지 도구를 활용한 피아노 지도 방안

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 다중지능이론을 기초로 하여 테크놀로지 도구를 활용하는 피아노 지도 방안을 제시하는 것이다. 가드너가 제시한 다중지능이론은 언어지능, 논리수학지능, 시각공간지능, 신체운동지능, 음악지능, 대인관계지능, 자기이해지능, 자연친화지능의 여덟가지로 이루어져 있으며 각각 독립적으로 적절한 수준까지 발달시킬 수 있다. 또한, 가드너는 획일화된 전통적인 교수법이 아닌 개인별 맞춤화 학습으로 인하여 다중지능이 계발될 수 있다고 주장한다. 이러한 개인별 맞춤화 학습은 컴퓨터 및 스마트폰과 같은 테크놀로지의 활용으로 인하여 보다 효과적으로 이루어질 수 있으며, 테크놀로지를 기반으로 하는 21세기의 피아노 학습자들에게도 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있다. 위에서 언급한 선행연구들의 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구는 백정심(2012)이 제시한 중급 피아노 학습자에게 효과적인 <Album for the Young>의 제목의 슈만, 걸릿, 차이코프스키의 작품집을 선정하고 다중지능이론을 기초로 하여 다양한 테크놀로지 도구를 활용하는 피아노 지도 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 본 연구에 적합한 테크놀로지 도구는 음악교육에서 활용하는 테크놀로지 도구와 암스트롱(2022)이 제시한 다중지능 계발을 위한 새로운 학습 기술을 통합한 자원들 예시를 바탕으로 선정하였으며, 본 지도 방안에 활용한 도구의 종류는 다음과 같다. 테크놀로지 도구 중 하드웨어는 컴퓨터, 스크린, 빔프로젝터, 스피커, 블루투스 스피커, 태블릿 PC, 디지털피아노, 소프트웨어는 유튜브, PPT, 앱 <IMSLP>, 앱 <My Ear Training>, 앱 <Rhythm Lab>, 앱 <Tempo>를 활용하였다. 제재곡은 <Album for the Young>의 제목의 작품집 중 슈만의 <Album for the Young Op.68>의‘8번 난폭한 기수’를 선택하여 멜로디적 요소, 걸릿의 <Album for the Young Op.140>의‘15번 도깨비불’을 선택하여 리듬적 요소, 차이코프스키의 <Album for the Young Op.39>의‘2번 겨울 아침’을 선택하여 화성적 요소들의 학습에 활용하며 지도 방안은 한 곡당 한 차시, 총 3차시로 구성하였다. 본 연구는 다중지능이론과 테크놀로지 도구를 함께 접목하여 획일화된 전통적인 교수법에서 벗어나 새로운 피아노 교수-학습을 제시한 논문으로써의 의의가 있다. 본 연구를 바탕으로 피아노 교사들의 테크놀로지 도구에 대한 지속적인 관심과 학습자들의 고유한 특성에 맞춰진 개인별 맞춤 학습을 통하여 더욱 효과적이고 참신한 피아노 교수-학습에 관한 연구가 이루어지길 기대한다.;This study aims to develop the piano teaching method using technology tools based on multiple intelligence theory. Gardner’s theory of Multiple Intelligence consists‘word smart’,‘logic/number smart’,‘picture smart’,‘body smart’,‘music smart’,‘people smart’,‘self smart’,‘nature smart’. Each smart can be developed independently to an appropriate level. Besides, Gardner claims that multiple intelligences could develop individually rather than traditional standardized teaching. This individualized teaching could become more convenient and effective on the grounds of the development of technology, including computers and smartphones. This study selected <Album for the Young>, the pieces of Schumann, Gurlitt, and Tchaikovsky, which is effective for intermediate piano learners to develop the piano teaching method using technology tools based on multiple intelligence theory. Technology tools are selected from the field of music education and resources for integrating new learning technologies. The technology tools used as following;‘hardware’includes computer, screen, beam projector, speaker, bluetooth speaker, tablet pc, digital piano,‘software’includes Youtube, PowerPoint, app‘IMSLP’, app‘My Ear Training’, app‘Rhythm Lab’, app‘Tempo’. The study course is comprised of three lessons, and one piece has one lesson. The pieces for the course are selected from the works titled <Album for the Young>: Schumann's <Album for the Young Op.68>'s 'Wild Rider' for the melodic element, Gurlitt's <Album for the Young Op.140>'s 'Will-o-the-wisp' for the rhythmic element, and Tchaikovsky's <Album for the Young Op.39>'s 'Winter Morning' for the harmonic element. The significance of this study is in developing a new piano teaching method that combines the multiple intelligence theory using technology tools. Therefore, it is expected for piano teachers to continue creating an efficient and innovative teaching method through individualized teaching with technology tools.
