한국어 고급 단계 듣기 교재의 실제성 분석

Abstract

본 연구는 한국어 고급 단계 듣기 교재를 대상으로 상호작용 측면에서 듣기 텍스트의 실제성을 분석하는 것에 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 현재 시중에 출판된 한국어 고급 단계 듣기 교재를 총 4종, 10권을 선정하고, 듣기 텍스트의 분석 기준을 마련하여 각각의 분석 기준과 하위 분석 틀로 듣기 텍스트를 분석하였다. 1장에서는 연구의 목적과 필요성을 밝히고, 선행 연구를 살펴보았다. 선행 연구를 검토한 결과 듣기 교재의 실제성 연구에 관하여 다양한 연구와 논의가 이루어졌지만, 그 분석 기준이 상호작용 측면에 초점을 둔 연구는 찾기가 쉽지 않았으며, 더욱이 고급 단계 듣기 교재를 대상으로 한 실제성 연구는 지금까지 없었음을 알 수 있었다. 2장에서는 본 연구를 위한 이론적 바탕이 되는 개념을 확실히 하기 위하여 듣기의 정의와 듣기 과정, 실제성과 듣기 자료의 실제성에 대한 전반적인 이론을 살펴보았다. 특히 본 연구와 직접 관련이 되는 담화가 갖는 듣기 텍스트의 실제성 요소에 대한 이론을 살펴보면서 연구의 분석 기준과 틀을 마련하였다. 3장에서는 연구의 분석 대상이 되는 교재 선정 기준과 목록을 제시하고 분석 기준과 연구 방법을 밝혔다. 분석 기준으로는 화제 전환, 순서교대, 맞장구이며 그 각각의 하위 분석 틀은 화제 전환에서는 화제 전환 표현을 위한 담화표지이며, 순서교대에서는 순서교대 양상, 대화 참여자 수, 말차례 빼앗기의 담화표지이다. 여기서 하위 분석 틀인 순서교대 양상에는 순서교대 횟수, 순서교대단위의 평균 길이, 1,000어절당 순서교대 빈도가 포함된다. 맞장구에서는 맞장구의 형태와 기능이다. 화제 전환, 순서교대, 맞장구를 분석 기준으로 하여 위의 상세한 분석 틀로 듣기 텍스트를 분석하였고, 실제 대화는 각 분석 기준마다 방대한 구어 말뭉치인 실제 대화를 연구 대상으로 한 앞선 연구들의 연구 결과를 실제 대화로 산정하고 비교 기준으로 하였다. 4장에서는 각각의 분석 틀로 분석한 연구 결과를 가지고 듣기 텍스트에서 이들의 실제성이 어떻게 나타나는지를 실제 대화와 비교하면서 논의하였다. 이상의 연구 과정을 통해 한국어 고급 단계 듣기 교재의 듣기 텍스트가 상호작용 측면에서 나타나는 화제 전환, 순서교대, 맞장구의 실제성을 어느 정도 반영하고 있는지를 알 수 있었다. 분석 결과 화제 전환 표현의 담화표지 사용, 순서교대 양상과 말차례 빼앗기 모습, 맞장구의 언어표현 양상에 있어서 모두 실제성이 부족한 것을 알 수 있었다. 청자의 역할이 강조되는 현대 사회에서, 의사소통 과정 중 적극적인 상호작용을 원활히 할 수 있는 담화적 요인에 주목한 본 연구가 향후 상호작용 측면에서 듣기 텍스트의 실제성을 반영하려는 노력의 마중물이 되었으면 한다.;The purpose of this study was to analyze the listening texts in authenticity in terms of interaction with Korean textbooks for advanced-level and to find out how to reflect the authenticity of the listening texts. For this study, ten Korean textbooks for advanced-level across four types were selected. Chapter 1, the research objective, necessity, and previous studies were covered. Chapter 2, the definition and process of listening, authenticity, the authenticity of listening materials were examined. The theories about the authenticity elements of listening texts in discourse directly related to the present study helped to prepare analysis criteria and frameworks. Chapter 3, a set of analysis criteria and their subanalysis frameworks were offered. The analysis criteria include topic change, turn-taking and back-channel. The subanalysis framwork of topic change is discourse markers for topic change expressions. That of turn-taking includes the patterns of turn-taking, number of participants in conversations, and discourse markers for interruption. In detail, the patterns of turn-taking include the number of turn-taking in each text, average length of a unit in the turn-taking, and frequency of turn-taking per 1,000 words segments. That of the back-channel includes the discourse markers for back- channel. The references for the real conversations in this study were the findings of previous studies that examined real conversations as enormous spoken corpora. Chapter 4, the listenting texts and real conversations were compared based on the analysis criteria and their subanalysis frameworks discussed in the previous chapter. This research helped figure out how much the listening texts reflected the authenticity of topic change, turn-taking, and back-channel in terms of interactions. The analysis results indicated that there was a lack of authenticity in discourse markers in topic change expressions, patterns of turn-taking, interruption, and discourse markers for back-channel. This study focused on discourse factors to ensure smooth and active interactions in the communication process. Listening texts should reflect the authenticity of topic change, turn-taking, and back-channel in terms of interactions.
