생명과학 전공 한국어 학습자 대상 시험 답안 지도 방안

Abstract

본 연구는 국내 대학에서 생명과학을 전공하는 학문 목적 한국어 학습자를 대상으로 시험 답안 지도 방안을 설계하는 데에 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 실제 국내 대학에서 생명과학을 전공하는 우수한 한국인 학습자의 시험 답안을 살펴보고 답안의 구조적, 언어적 특징을 정리하였다. 우수한 한국인 학습자의 시험 답안 작성시 구조적, 언어적 특징을 바탕으로 생명과학 전공 학문 목적 학습자를 위한 시험 답안 지도방안을 제언하였다. I장에서는 연구의 목적 및 필요성을 밝히고 선행 연구를 살펴보았다. 선행 연구를 검토한 결과 시험 답안 작성과 관련한 대부분의 논의들은 인문계열 전공을 위한 연구가 주를 이루어 왔으며, 이공계열 전공 시험 답안 지도에 관한 연구는 부족했다. 특히 생명과학 전공 학문 목적 한국어 교육에 관한 연구는 주로 어휘를 중심으로 소규모로 이루어져 왔다. 생명과학 전공 학문 목적 한국어 학습자를 대상으로 한 시험 답안 지도 방안 설계에 대한 연구는 아직 이루어지지 않았음을 알 수 있었다. II장에서는 학문 목적 한국어 쓰기 교육과 장르 중심 쓰기 교육에 관한 전반적인 이론을 살펴보았다. 또한 본 연구의 대상 전공인 생명과학 전공의 학문적 특성과 내용에 대해 살펴보았다. III장에서는 연구 절차 및 방법을 밝혔다. 국내 대학에서 생명과학을 전공하는 우수한 한국인 학생의 실제 시험 답안을 수집하여 글의 구조적, 언어적 특징을 분석하고 정리하였다. 실제 시험 문제는 생명과학의 대표적인 교과목에서 추출하였고, 실제 시험 문항을 통해 생명과학 전공의 대표적인 문제 유형을 살펴보았다. IV장에서는 III장의 연구 방법을 바탕으로 진행한 시험 답안 분석의 결과를 밝혔다. 이를 토대로 생명과학 전공 학문 목적 한국어 학습자를 위한 시험 답안 교육의 목표를 설정하고 교수 학습의 내용을 제시하였으며, 실제 교수-학습 모형을 제시하였다. 이상의 연구를 통해 생명과학을 전공하는 우수한 한국인 학습자들이 작성한 시험 답안이 어떠한 구조적, 언어적 특징을 갖고 있는지를 알 수 있었으며, 실제 학문 목적 한국어 학습자를 위한 시험 답안 지도 방안을 설계하여 제언할 수 있었다. 본 연구는 이공계열 중 생명과학 전공의 시험 답안 지도 방안을 설계함으로써 학문 목적 한국어 학습자를 위한 시험 답안 지도에 도움이 되고자 하였다. ;The purpose of study is to establish a guidance of exam answering for academic Korean learners majoring in life sciences in Korean universities. For this, I examined the exam answers from excellent Korean learners who majored in life sciences at domestic universities, and then I categorized the structural and linguistic characteristics of those answers. The study suggested a teaching method of examination answer for foreign students majoring in biological sciences on the basis of the structural and linguistic characteristics of Korean student’s examination answer. In chapter 1, I revealed the purpose and necessity of research, and I also reviewed previous references. The previous papers mainly investigated a guidance of answering exam questions for students with Humanities major; however, there were not enough studies for students with Science and Engineering majors. Still, there were several studies for academic Korean learners majoring in life sciences; however, these studies had been conducted by focusing vocabularies only. Therefore, the advanced study is necessary to design a teaching method of examination answer for foreign students majoring in life sciences. In chapter II, the general theories of Korean writing education and more specific genre-based writing education were studied. In addition, I examined the excellent academic features and contents that can be achieved through life science major. In chapter III, I introduced the research procedure and research method. The actual test answers of excellent Korean students majoring in life sciences at domestic universities were analyzed, and the their structural and linguistic features were organized. The actual examination questions were extracted from representative subjects of life sciences, and the representative test trends of life science majors were examined through the actual test questions. Based on the research method suggested in chapter III, chapter IV revealed the result from analyses of examination answers. In this study, I suggested the purpose of examination answer education for foreign students majoring in life sciences, and I also proposed the actual model of teaching and learning scheme for education. The study showed how excellent Korean students write their examination answers in terms of structural and linguistic characteristics. Moreover, the study suggested a teaching method of an examination answer for foreign students majoring in life sciences in the Republic of Korea. Overall, this study provided a useful teaching method of an examination answer for foreign students majoring in life sciences.
