dc.description.abstractA new 14-membered macrolactam natural product, fluvirucin B6 (1), was isolated from a marine-derived actinomycete, Nocardiopsis sp. CNQ-115, via HPLC-UV guided isolation. The chemical structure of 1 was elucidated by 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopic data analysis. Compound 1 showed a weak activity against Gram-positive bacteria, whereas it was inactive against Gram-negative bacteria. © 2018 The Author(s) under exclusive licence to the Japan Antibiotics Research Association.*
