동요를 활용한 의성어·의태어 한국어 교육방안 연구

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to suggest teaching methods of Korean language education by applying children's song, onomatopoeia and mimetic words. For this purpose, the list of onomatopoeia and mimetic words were selected and deducted results and evaluation by conducted a satisfaction survey on Korean language after implementing a survey on learners' demands. Chapter I describes the purpose and necessity of the study and presents the overall structure of the study on how to proceed the research in each chapter. In Chapter Ⅱ, the theoretical background and the contents of preceding research are described. In terms of theoretical background of this study, the definitions of multicultural families and the current status of Korean language education are explained. And the definition and characteristics of the children's song and the parts of definitions and characteristics of onomatopoeia and mimetic word are identified as well. In the preceding research, the literary part of Korean language education for multicultural families was investigated. And it explained how the education research using children's song, research on Korean language education of onomatopoeia and mimetic words can be applied to Korean language education as well as what are the required educational methods. Finally, the research problem in this study would be presented. Section III describes the research on educational methods. The purpose of this study is to propose educational methods of onomatopoeia and mimetic words with children's song aimed at multicultural families, and thus it figures out the learners' demands and perception regarding children's song from pre-questionnaire. The study describes the criteria and lists of selecting children's song and onomatopoeia and mimetic words. By explaining the instruction methods of children's song in classes, the study proposes educational plan accordingly. And then, students' satisfaction are examined by questionnaire, after lecturing the classes based on this plan. Finally, Chapter IV summarizes the contents of Chapters I to IV, suggesting the results of the study as well as indicating implications and limitations of the study. The study has a significance in that it selected the list of onomatopoeia and mimetic words from the children's song and learners' demands with regard to instruction of onomatopoeia and mimetic words with children's song, thereby, suggesting and utilizing the educational methods focusing on onomatopoeia and mimetic words of Korean language. Through this study, it is expected that interest in Korean language education applying children's song as well as onomatopoeia and mimetic words of Korean language education would increase. It is also hoped that the study would contribute to the improvement of further research. ;본 연구의 목적은 의성어·의태어를 동요를 활용하여 한국어 교육의 교육 방안을 제시하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 의성어·의태어의 목록을 선정을 하고 학습자들의 요구 조사를 하여 직접 실행한 후 한국어의 만족도 조사를 하여 결과와 평가를 도출하였다. Ⅰ장에서는 본 연구에 대한 목적과 필요성에 대해 서술하고 각 장마다 연구를 어떻게 진행을 할 것인지에 대한 연구의 전체적인 구성을 제시한다. Ⅱ장에서는 이론적 배경과 선행 연구에 대한 내용을 기술하였다. 본 연구의 이론적인 배경에서는 다문화 가정의 정의와 한국어 교육 현황에 대한 정의를 기술하였으며 동요의 정의와 특징, 의성어·의태어의 정의와 특징의 부분을 알아보았다. 선행연구에서는 다문화 가정을 대상으로 한 다문화 가정의 한국어 교육의 문학적인 부분을 알아보고, 동요를 활용한 한국어 교육 연구, 의성어·의태어의 한국어 교육에 대한 연구들이 어떻게 한국어 교육에 적용을 시켰는지 교육 방안은 무엇인지에 대해 기술을 하였다. 마지막으로는 본 연구에서의 연구문제를 제시할 것이다. Ⅲ장에서는 교육 방안 연구에 관련하여 기술하였다. 본 연구는 다문화 가정을 대상으로 동요를 활용하여 의성어·의태어 한국어 교육 방안을 제시하는 연구이므로, 학습자들에게 선 설문지로 동요에 관한 학습자들 인식과 수업에 관한 학습자들의 요구를 알아보고, 동요 선정을 하는 기준과 목록, 의성어·의태어의 목록 선정, 수업에서 동요를 지도하는 방법에 대해 기술하고 이에 따른 교육 계획안을 작성을 하여 제시를 하며 이 계획안을 바탕으로 수업을 진행한 후, 후 설문지로 학습자들의 만족도를 살펴본다. 마지막으로 Ⅳ장은 Ⅰ장부터 Ⅳ장까지의 내용을 총 정리하여 본 연구의 결과를 제시하고 본 연구에 관한 의의 및 한계점을 제언 하였다. 본 연구는 동요를 활용하여 의성어·의태어 수업 지도에 있어서 학습자들의 요구 조사와 동요에서의 나온 의성어·의태어 목록 선정을 하여 한국어에서의 의성어·의태어를 중심으로 교육 방안을 제시하여 적용을 시켰다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 본 연구를 통해 한국어 교육에서의 의성어·의태어교육 뿐만 아니라 동요를 활용한 한국어 교육에 대한 관심이 높아지기를 기대하며 이와 관련된 후속 연구에도 많은 도움이 되길 바란다.
