초임 음악교사의 성찰저널쓰기가 교사 전문성에 미치는 영향

Abstract

본 연구는 초임 음악교사의 성찰저널쓰기가 교사 전문성에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 탐색하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 서울과 경기도 지역에서 재직하고 있는 초임 음악교사 3명을 대상으로 질적 연구를 실시하였다. 연구 도구로 성찰저널과 심층 면담이 사용되었으며 성찰저널은 오픈코딩으로 분석되었고 심층 면담은 면담 직후 모두 전사되어 연구 자료로 사용되었다. 본 연구의 연구문제에 따른 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 초임 음악교사가 성찰저널을 작성할 때 글로 해석하여 정리하는 것의 어려움, 시간이 많이 소요되는 어려움, 성찰 과정의 어려움 등 크게 세 가지의 어려움이 있었던 것을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 초임 음악교사가 작성한 성찰저널의 내용은 크게 학생에 초점을 맞춘 내용, 수업에 초점을 맞춘 내용, 그리고 교사 본인에게 초점을 맞춘 내용으로 구성되어 있었다. 셋째, 연구 참여자들의 성찰저널과 인터뷰 내용을 통해 성찰저널쓰기는 교사 전문성의 하위 요소인 수업 능력, 의사소통 능력, 학생을 이해하는 마음가짐, 교육학 지식의 적용 능력을 높여준 것으로 분석되었다. 이러한 연구 결과를 통해 초임 교사들이 이론과 실제의 괴리를 좁힐 수 있도록 교육 현장에서 필요한 수업 능력과 학생들과 소통하는 방법 등의 실질적인 교육이 필요함을 인지할 수 있게 되었다. 또한 성찰저널쓰기는 초임 음악교사의 반성적 사고를 유도하여 수업 능력과 학생을 이해하는 마음가짐을 높여주는 교사 전문성에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 본 연구를 통해 성찰저널쓰기의 가치를 확인할 수 있었으며 이를 활용할 수 있는 구체적인 방안이 마련되기를 기대한다. ;The purpose of this study is to explore how writing a reflection journal by a starting music teacher affects teacher professionalism. so, the research was conducted on three music teachers in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. The findings of this study are as follows. First, when starting music teacher wrote the reflection journal, they had three major difficulties, including difficulty in putting it into writing, time consuming, and difficulty in the reflection process. Second, Reflection Journal consisted largely of focusing on students, focusing on classes, and focusing on teachers themselves. Third, it was analyzed that writing a journal of reflection by research participants improved the ability of classes, which is a subsidence of teacher professionalism, and the mindset to understand students. These findings have helped to recognize that starting teachers need practical education, such as teaching skills and communicating with students, to narrow the gap between theory and practice. It was also noted that writing a reflection journal had a positive impact on the professionalism of teachers, which improves class skills and the mindset of understanding students by inducing early music teachers to think about their own thoughts. Therefore, the value of writing in the journal of reflection can be identified through this study, and it is hoped that a specific plan will be prepared to utilize it.
