품사 지식과 연계한 고등학교 한글 맞춤법 교육 방안 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 품사 지식과 한글 맞춤법 교육을 연계하여 고등학교 문법 학습자의 문법 지식을 정교화 하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 그 동안의 한글 맞춤법 교육이 가치 평가가 절하되고 규범적 측면만 강조되어 온 이유는 다른 문법 지식과의 연계가 이루어지지 않았기 때문이다. 품사 지식과 연계한 한글 맞춤법 교육을 통해 문법적 사고력을 신장시키는 문법 교육의 방안을 연구한다. 교육 과정이 여러 차례 개정되어도 문법 교육에서 바뀌지 않는 고질적인 문제는 학습자에게 전체적으로 문법을 바라볼 수 있는 시각을 길러주지 못하고 있다는 점이다. 이 점은 학습자가 문법에 유독 어려움을 느끼는 것과 맥을 같이 한다. 현재 문법 교육에는 전체 안에서 부분의 관계를 이해하고 다시 부분과 전체의 유기적 연결 고리를 찾는 과정이 결여되어 있다. 언어는 어느 한 부분으로만 이루어진 것이 아니므로, 문법 교육은 언어체계를 총체적으로 이해하는 관점에서 이루어져야 한다. 따라서 본 연구는 고등학교 교과서 내 한글 맞춤법 단원과 품사 단원을 분석하여 두 문법 지식 간 연계 가능성을 살펴보고자 한다. Ⅱ장은 품사 지식과 연계한 고등학교 한글 맞춤법 교육의 실태를 2009 개정 교육 과정이 반영된 <국어Ⅰ> 11종, <독서와 문법> 6종을 토대로 분석하였다. 한글 맞춤법 교육을 목적으로 구성된 <국어Ⅰ>에서 품사 지식과 연계한 설명이 이루어지고 있는 교과서는 5종이었다. 교과서 학습 활동은 대부분 틀린 표기를 바르게 고쳐보는 단편적 지식 학습으로 한글 맞춤법 교육이 이루어지고 있었다. 한편 <독서와 문법>의 품사 교육 단원에서 한글 맞춤법 규정과 품사를 연계하고 있는 교과서는 2종에 불과하였다. 따라서 한글 맞춤법 교육 내에서 품사 지식과의 연계나 품사 교육 내에서 한글 맞춤법과의 연계가 부족함을 확인하였다. Ⅲ장은 한글 맞춤법 조항의 전체를 분석하였다. 그 결과 품사 지식을 알아야만 내용 이해가 되는 강한 연계성을 지닌 한글 맞춤법 조항을 형태 부분과 띄어쓰기 부분으로 나누어 재구조화를 하였다. Ⅳ장에서는 Ⅲ장의 형태 부분 재구조화와 띄어쓰기 부분 재구조화를 반영하고, Ⅱ장에서 분석한 교과서의 미흡한 점을 보완해 품사 지식과 연계한 한글 맞춤법 교육 방안을 제시하였다. 이는 품사 교육과 한글 맞춤법이 연계된 문법 교육을 통해 한글 맞춤법의 원리를 이해하는 과정에서 품사 지식의 정교화를 기대한다. 품사 지식을 활용하여 한글 맞춤법 조항의 체계적 원리를 스스로 파악할 수 있어 문법적 사고력을 신장시킬 수 있다. 또한 긴밀한 관련성을 맺는 두 문법 내용을 동시에 학습함으로써 학습의 부담을 줄여주는 점에서도 교육적 가치가 있다. 본고는 한글 맞춤법 교육이 고차적인 문법 학습 내용으로 다루어질 수 있음에도 불구하고, 단순 문법적 내용 기술에만 그치는 실태를 개선하고자 하였다. 구체적으로 품사 지식과 연계한 교육 방안을 제시하였다. 특히 교과서에서 다루지 않는 한글 맞춤법 전체 조항과 품사 지식과의 연계성을 살피고 한글 맞춤법의 전반적 이해를 돕는 조항 및 품사 지식을 탐구한 데 연구의 의의가 있다.;This study is to elaborate high school grammar leaner’s grammar knowledge with part of speech and education of Hangul spelling system. Meanwhile, education of the rules of spelling of Hangeul has been devaluated and emphasized on normative angles, because of the lack of associating with other grammar skills. For this reason, this study search teaching method of grammar which upgrade grammatic thinking skills through education the rules of spelling of Hangeul related with knowledge of part of speech. Therefore, this study analyze the rules of spelling of Hangeul unit and part of speech unit, and examine possibility of linking those two grammar knowledges. Chapter Ⅱ shows actual condition in education of the rules of spelling of Hangeul associated with knowledge of part of speech analysing 2009 revised edition <The national languageⅠ> 11 types, <Reading and grammar> 6 types. There are only five types <The national languageⅠ> which have related explanation with knowledge of part of speech. Chapter Ⅲ analyze overall Hangul spelling system clauses. and then re-structurize that dividing clauses which having a strong connectivity with knowledge of part of speech into form part, and spacing part. On a basis on Chapter Ⅲ’s re-structuring, Chapter Ⅳ suggest education plan of Hangul spelling system associated with knowledge of part of speech. First, students can elaborate their own knowledge of part of speech through grammar education which having a association with Hangul spelling system within part of speech education. Second is grammar education associated with knowledge of part of speech within Hangul spelling system education. The above two methods have educational value in that they reduce the burden of learning by reducing the amount of learning by simultaneously learning two grammar learning contents which are closely related to each other. The purpose of this study is to suggest a teaching method in connection with the knowledge of parts of speech in order to deal with Hangul spelling education as a high - level grammar learning education. For this purpose, examine connectivity knowledge of part of speech and whole Hangul spelling system clauses.
