오디 피아노 교육의 기능화성감 지도 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 아동기의 다루어져야 할 음악 발달 중 기능화성감 증진을 위한 피아노 교수방안의 연구이다. 고든(Edwin E. Gordon)의 음악학습이론(Music Learning Theory)을 철학적 기반으로 다년간의 실험 연구 끝에 편찬된 한국오디에이션교육연구소의 유아 피아노 교육 방법론을 수록한 「오디 피아노·피아노 오디」교재의 악곡들 가운데 기능화성을 위한 악곡을 중심으로 선별, 분류하여 유아 및 초등 저학년들의 기능화성감을 함양하기 위한 목표로 피아노 수업지도안을 제시하는 것이 본 연구의 과제이다. 조성음악을 진정으로 사유하는 방식 중 하나는 화성의 이해이며 이는 화성악기인 피아노를 학습하거나 연주 할 때에도 그 의미가 동일하게 적용된다. 따라서 피아노 학습자에게 화성의 이해는 필수적인 역량이다. 화성적 이해는 음계와 화음을 분석하여 정리하는 이론적 이해 이전에 각 화성이 조성적 중심의 힘에 의해 감지되고 인식되어 소리의 중력으로서 받아들여질 때 보다 본질적으로 이해할 수 있기 때문에 기능이론에 의해 화성감을 증진하는 것은 피아노 음악도에게 매우 중요하다. 화성에 대한 이상적인 이해는 인간의 생애 전반에 걸쳐 한층 깊이 있게 발전하여야 하겠지만 고든에 의하면 만 9세 이전의 유동 음악 소질 시기를 놓치면 그 이후에 치료적으로 회생될 가능성은 현저히 낮다고 주장하였다. 그럼에도 불구하고 7-9세의 유아 및 초등 저학년의 아동을 대상으로 화성적 내용을 기반으로 한 피아노 교수법은 선행 연구인 고은숙(2014)를 제외하고 국내에서 전무한 형편이다. 따라서 본 연구자는 아동기에 다루어져야 할 화성적 이해를 위하여 '기능화성감'의 용어 및 이론적 배경을 고찰하고 유아음악교육의 세계적 권위자인 고든의 음악학습이론의 교수-학습 원리를 한국 아동의 교육적 환경과 정체성에 적합하게 적용하여 연령에 알맞은 피아노 교수-학습 원리로 개발한 오디(Audie) 피아노 페다고지의 학습절차에 따라 베이스 라인의 인식, 3화음, 종지감 형성을 위한 기능화성감 수업의 지도안을 작성하였다. 화성적 이해는 소리에 의한 접근으로 시작하여 화성에 대한 소리 변별력을 갖추어서 피아노 연주로 구현하고 소리와 감각기관으로 느낀 화성의 이름과 기호에 대한 인식을 통해 화성에 대한 구조적인 이해로 다가설 때 공고해진다. 화성에 대한 이해는 보다 깊이 있는 음악 활동과 연주를 도모하는 확고한 기반이다.;This is the study on piano teaching measure to increase the functional harmonic sense out of the musical development to be handled during the childhood. The purpose of this study is to propose the piano teaching guidance for the purpose of developing the functional harmonic sense in the children and lower graders of the elementary school by sorting and classifying the musical pieces for the functional harmonic sense out of the musical pieces found in 「Audie Piano·Piano Audie」, the piano manual for children of Korea Institute for Aidieation Music Education compiled based on the music learning theory by Edwin Gordon. One of the methods to teach and learn the tonal music truly is to understand the harmony, which meaning is applied same when learning or playing the piano, which is the harmonic instrument. Therefore, understanding the harmony is the fundamental competence for the piano learners. Since the harmony can be understood well essentially when each harmony is detected and recognized by the gravity of the marmonic center and accepted as the gravity of the sound, improving the sense of harmony by the function theory is very important for the students who learn the music. The ideal understanding of harmony should be developed deeply across the human life but according to Gordon, if one misses the musical talent developing period before 9 year-old, the possibility to call it back later by treatment is significantly low. Nevertheless, the research on the piano teaching method based on the harmonic contents for 7-9 years old children and the lower graders of elementary school has not been made domestically except the preceding research by Goh Eun-Sook(2014). Therefore, for the understanding on harmony, which should be treated during the childhood, the researcher examine the terms and theoretical background of 'functional harmonic sense' and prepared the teaching guide of functional harmonic sense class for the recognition of base line, primary chord and the formation of sense of cadence according to the learning procedure of Audie Piano Pedagogy, which has been developed as the piano teaching-learning principle appropriate for the ages by applying the teaching-learning principle of the music learning theory by Gordon, who is recognized as the world authority in music education for children, in order to fit to the educational environment and the identity of the Korean children.
