We examined the relationships between three self-efficacy variables (self-confidence, self-regulatory efficacy, and task difficulty preferences) and three multicultural acceptability variables (knowledge, skills, and attitude) to explore the specific contributors to make positive effects between them. A canonical correlation analysis was conducted on 532 data across from the five universities. The results suggest that the two variable sets are significantly associated and all the variable sets were positively related. The results show that the more self-regulatory efficacy, task difficulty preferences, and self-confidence students had, in declining order of significance, the more skills, attitude, and knowledge in multicultural acceptability they demonstrated. © 2015 International Information Institute.-
