Grammar With a Purpose

Abstract

This book is designed for the first grade of middle school students with A2 to B1 of language proficiency of ACTFL participating in extra-curricular courses in public middle school. Through this book students can consolidate the grammar structures that they have learned in their regular English classes. Students will also comprehend the need of grammar structures as a means of communication through much exposure to authentic language examples. They will also be able to use target grammar in communicative and meaningful ways. Combining multimedia that students get used to with the tasks will make students more enjoy learning grammar. Students can also prepare for examinations through form-focused tasks in this book which designed to reflect the questions that students will face in the examination.
