Synthesis and antifungal activity of benzo[d]oxazole-4,7-diones

Abstract

Benzo[d]oxazole-4,7-diones were synthesized and tested for in vitro antifungal activity against fungi. Among them tested, many compounds showed good antifungal activity. The results suggest that benzo[d]oxazole-4,7-diones would be potent antifungal agents. © 2009 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
