Equidistribution of eisenstein series in the level aspect

Abstract

We prove an equidistribution property of the Eisenstein series for congruence subgroups as the level goes to infinity. This is an analogy of the phenomenon called quantum ergodicity. © 2009 Springer-Verlag.
