This paper describes the application of fluidized bed photocatalysis reactor (FBPR) for the oxidative removal of TOC and THMFP. According to the bench scale experiments, TOC and THMFP of humic acid and surface water could be degraded in the presence of fluidized TiO2 particles upon irradiation with a UV-lamp (254nm). The apparent quantum yields based on the TOC of humic acid and a surface water were 2.5% and 0.078%, respectively. After 15 hours photocatalytic reaction, 60% of TOC and 57% of THMFP of the surface water could be removed.
