M. Moszkowski Etude Op.72와 F. Chopin Etude Op.10, Op.25의 테크닉 유형별 비교연구 및 연습법 고찰

Abstract

모슈코프스키는 19C 후반의 낭만주의 작곡가이자 유명한 피아노 교사였으며, 선율이 아름다운 살롱음악과 성격소품을 많이 작곡하였다. 특히 그는 다수의 에튀드를 작곡하였는데, 그 중 「15 Etudes de Virtuosite "Per Aspera", Op.72」는 쇼팽 에튀드와 테크닉 유형과 음악스타일이 유사한 연습곡집으로, 중급 후반 수준의 학생들이 학습하기에 적당하다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 중급수준의 학생들이 모슈코프스키 에튀드 Op.72의 15곡을 통해 상급수준의 쇼팽 에튀드에 제시된 여러 가지 테크닉 유형을 단계적으로 학습할 수 있도록 하는 데 있다. 본 연구에서는 이를 위해 모슈코프스키 에튀드 Op.72를 테크닉 유형별로 분석하고, 이를 쇼팽 에튀드와 비슷한 테크닉 유형끼리 묶어 비교 연구하였다. 그 결과, 모슈코프스키 에튀드의 15곡 중 14곡이 쇼팽 에튀드와 비슷한 테크닉 유형을 갖고 있음을 확인하였다. 이 테크닉 유형을 쇼팽 에튀드의 선행연구를 바탕으로 ‘빠른 16분음표 진행’, ‘로테이션’, ‘겹음’, ‘반음계’, ‘옥타브’, ‘아르페지오’의 총 6가지로 나누었다. ‘빠른 16분음표 진행’은 가장 많이 사용된 테크닉 유형으로, 이를 ‘단단한 손가락’, ‘빠른 패시지에서의 손목과 팔’, ‘속도와 유연성’, ‘손가락의 독립성’, ‘넓은 음역을 오르내리는 빠른 진행’, ‘3,4,5번의 약한 손가락에 의한 빠른 진행’으로 더 세분화하였다. ‘로테이션’은 ‘엄지손가락 로테이션’과 ‘앞팔 로테이션’을 모두 포함할 뿐만 아니라, ‘겹음을 포함한 손목 로테이션’과 ‘지그재그 음형에서의 로테이션’도 다루었다. ‘겹음’은 ‘겹음에서 선율을 갖는 5번 손가락’, ‘3도 겹음’, ‘겹음 레가토’, ‘내성 선율을 갖는 겹음’으로 나누어서 살펴보았다. 아울러 더 나아가 6가지 테크닉 유형을 산도르, 핀크, 번스타인의 저서에 제시된 내용을 토대로 신체적, 연습법적인 고찰을 하였다. 본 연구를 통해 중급수준의 학생들이 모슈코프스키 에튀드를 학습함으로써 테크닉을 향상시키고 상급수준의 쇼팽 에튀드에 접근하는데 도움이 되길 기대해본다.;The purpose of this research is that intermediate level students can gradually learn high level Chopin Etude with various technique types. Moszkowski was not only a well-known Romantic composer but also a famous piano teacher at the end of 19th century. He usually composed salon music with beautiful melody, character pieces, and much etude. 「15 Etudes de Virtuosite "Per Aspera", Op.72」 is a gradus that has similar technique type and music style with Chopin Etude, which is appropriate for practice of intermediate level students. At the body of this report, Moszkowski Etude Op.72 will be analyzed based on its technique types, and it will be compared with each of Chopin Etude with similar technique type. As a result, fourteen out of fifteen Moszkowski Etude had similar technique type with Chopin Etude, and it can be labeled as six types. These were 'fast demiquaver process', 'rotation', 'double stopping', 'chromatic', 'octave', and 'arpeggio', and 'fast demiquaver process' was the most type. Furthermore, physical and practical consideration was done based on these six technique types. I expect that intermediate level students can improve their technique and approach high level Chopin Etude through this study.
