부모의 창의적 인성, 자녀의 창의적 인성 및 자녀의 놀이성과의 관계

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 현대사회를 살아가는 유아들에게 중요한 의미를 지니는 창의적 인성의 발달 과정에서 부모님의 창의적인 인성, 유아의 놀이성과 유아의 창의적 인성 간의 관련성을 알아보는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 다음과 같은 연구문제를 설정하였다. 1. 부모의 창의적 인성은 유아의 창의적 인성과 관계가 어떠한가? 2. 유아의 놀이성은 유아의 창의적 인성과 관계가 어떠한가? 본 연구에서는 유아교육기관에 다니는 만 3~5세 유아를 자녀로 둔 부모 170명을 대상으로 하였다. 부모의 창의적 인성을 측정하기 위하여 Raudsepp(1981)의 창의성 검사를 요인분석을 통해 자기보고식 검사로 제작한 박정현(2001)의 부모 창의성 검사도구를 사용하였다. 유아의 창의적 인성을 측정하기 위하여 Rimm(1983)의 PRIDE(Preschool and Kindergarten Interest Descriptor)를 수정·보완한 정민자(2005)의 유아의 창의적 인성 검사 도구를 사용하였다. 유아의 놀이성을 측정하기 위하여 Lieberman(1977)의 정의에 기초하여 Barnett(1990)이 제작한 Children’s Playfulness Scale(CPS)을 유애열(1994)이 번안하고 박선영(2010)이 수정·보완한 도구를 사용하였다. 연구 분석을 위해 Pearson의 상관 분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구를 통해 나온 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 아버지의 창의적 인성 및 어머니의 창의적 인성과 유아의 창의적 인성과의 관계에 대한 전반적인 경향을 알아본 결과, 부모 모두 유의미한 정적 상관관계를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 각 하위요인별로는 아버지의 창의적 인성 중 양극단성과 호기심이 가장 높을수록 유아의 창의적 인성 전체가 높았으며, 유아의 창의적 인성 중 다양한 관심은 가장 낮은 수준으로 나타났다. 이에 반해 어머니의 창의적 인성이 아버지의 창의적 인성보다 유아의 창의적 인성에 더 높은 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 어머니의 창의적 인성 전체는 유아의 창의적 인성 하위영역 5개 모두 유의미한 정적 상관관계가 있었으며 그 중 유아의 독특성이 가장 높았다. 또한 어머니의 창의적 인성 하위 요인 중 호기심과 양극단성이 높을수록 유아의 창의적 인성 전체가 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 유아의 놀이성과 유아의 창의적 인성과의 관계에 대해 알아본 결과, 유아의 놀이성과 유아의 창의적 인성은 유의미한 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 하위요인별로 자세히 살펴보면, 유아의 놀이성 전체는 유아의 창의적 인성 하위요인 중 상상-유희성에서 가장 높게 나타났으며, 유아의 놀이성 하위영역 중 신체적 자발성이 높을수록 유아의 창의적 인성 하위영역 중 유아의 독특성, 상상-유희성, 유아의 창의적 인성 전체가 높게 나타났다. 유아의 놀이성 하위영역 중 사회적 자발성, 인지적 자발성, 즐거움의 표현, 유머감각, 유아의 놀이성 전체가 높을수록 유아의 창의적 인성 하위영역 중 독특성, 다양한 관심, 상상-유희성, 유아의 창의적 인성 전체가 높게 나타났다.;In a process of the creative personality development having significance for young children living in a comtemporary society, this study aims at examining whether there is an effect of parents' creative personality and young children's playfulness on their creative personality. Hence, the research questions were as follows. 1. Is there any relation between parents' creative personality and young children's creative personality? 2. Is there any relation between young children's playfulness and young children's creative personality? This research was done for 170 parents having a child aged between 3-5 attending an early childhood education institution. To measure parents' creative personality, it used the creativity scale for parents by Park Jeong-Hyeon(2001) adapted to self-report test from Raudsepp's(1981) creativity scale through factor analysis. In order to measure young children's creative personality, it used the creative personality scale for young children by Jeong Min-Ja(2005)corrected·supplemented from PRIDE(Preschool and Kindergarten Interest Descriptor) by Rimm(1983). It also used Barnett's(1990) Children’s Playfulness Scale(CPS) based on a definition of Lieberman(1977) translated by Yu Ae-Yeol(1994) and corrected ·supplemented by Park Seon-Young(2010) to measure young children's playfulness. Pearson correlation analysis was conducted for analyzing the research. The results of this study are as follows. First, as a result of examining a general relation between father's or mother's creative personality and young children's creative personality, it showed that both parents had a significantly positive correlation. As for each sub-factor, for father's creative personality, the higher both extremeness and curiosity are, the higher young children's creative personality is, and diversity of interest in young children's creative personality showed the lowest. On the contrary, compared with creative personality of father, mother's creative personality had a higher positive correlation with young children's creative personality. The entire creative personality of mother had significantly positive correlation with all of 5 sub-factors of young children's creative personality, showing the highest in young children's uniqueness. Also, as for mother's creative personality sub-factors, the higher curiosity and both extremeness are, the higher young children's creative personality is in all. Second, as a result of examining a relation between young children's playfulness and creative personality, it showed that their playfulness and creative personality had a significantly positive correlation. As for sub-factors, entire playfulness of young children showed the highest in imagination-playfulness of their creative personality sub-factors. As physical spontaneity was higher among young children's playfulness sub-factors, their uniqueness, imagination-playfulness were higher among young children's creative personality sub-factors. Besides, as social spontaneity, cognitive spontaneity, expression of joy, sense of humor were higher among young children's playfulness sub-factors, uniqueness, variety of interest, imagination-playfulness were higher among young children's creative personality sub-factors.
