직업 목적 한국어 교육을 위한 비즈니스 상황의 지시화행 연구

Abstract

한국어 교육에서 지시화행 연구는 끊임없이 이루어지고 있지만 직업 목적 한국어 학습자들을 위한 구체적인 상황에 대한 자세한 연구는 아직까지 미흡한 실정이다. 비즈니스 상황에서 언어적이고 사회·문화적인 차이로 인해 학습자들은 화용적인 실패를 경험하게 되고 그것은 사회생활의 어려움을 초래할 수 있다. 이에 본 연구는 기업에 근무하는 한국어 모어 화자를 대상으로 요청, 부탁, 제안 상황에서 화행 전략 사용 양상을 분석하여 직업 목적 한국어 학습자를 위한 화행 연구의 기초 자료를 구축하고자 하는데 목적이 있다. 각 상황은 친소관계, 상하관계, 내용의 공사 구분을 변인으로 설정하여 통제하였고, 통제된 비즈니스 상황 내에서 화행의 실현이 어떻게 달라지는지 살펴보았다. 연구는 직장에 근무하는 한국어 모어 화자 172명을 대상으로 진행되었고, 설문은 DCT(Discourse Completion Test: 담화 완성 테스트)를 사용하였다. 논문의 구성은 다음과 같이 이루어졌다. Ⅰ장에서는 연구의 필요성 및 목적과 선행 연구들에 대해서 살펴보고, 논문 전체의 구성을 밝혔다. Ⅱ장에서는 직업 목적 한국어 교육과 지시화행에 대한 이론적 배경이 제시되었다. Ⅲ장에서는 본 연구의 구체적인 방법에 대해 기술하였는데 연구 대상, 절차 그리고 분석틀에 대한 내용을 포함했다. Ⅳ장에서는 앞 장에서 기술된 연구 방법에 따라 진행한 연구 결과를 요청, 부탁, 제안의 상황에 따라 각각 분류하여 제시하였다. 마지막으로 Ⅴ장에서는 지시화행 양상에 따른 결과를 상정하고 연구를 마무리하였다. 본 논문이 가지는 의의는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기존에 출간된 직업 목적 한국어 교재에서 다루지 않았던 요청, 부탁, 제안의 상세한 상황을 제시하여 의사소통의 실제성이 있는 다양한 비즈니스 상황에 대한 유용한 참고 자료가 될 수 있다. 둘째, 선행된 지시화행 연구에서 학생, 직장인 등 불특정 다수의 한국어 모어 화자들의 지시화행 전략을 분석한 결과와 다르게 다수의 직장인 한국어 모어 화자의 화행을 분석하여 환경적인 특수성에 따른 화행 전략의 특징을 발견했다는 점이다. 특수한 문화 환경 속에서 적절한 발화를 하기 위한 자료의 일환으로 이번 연구 결과의 의미를 찾을 수 있을 것이며, 이 자료는 학습자 및 교사 모두에게 도움이 될 수 있을 것이다.; The aim of this research is to recognize pragmatic failures and difficulties of functioning in society influenced by these failures which can arise in learners through language and sociocultural differences in business situations. Also, another object is to investigate and analyze the aspects of speech-act strategy use of request, consignment, and suggestion for Korean native speakers who are working in companies. It is preliminary data on speech-acts research benefitting Korean language learners for occupational purposes. Each situation is controlled by three variables such as degree of intimacy relation, degree of hierarchical relations, and degree of public versus personal matters. Under these controlled business situations, how speech-acts are interpreted differently was examined. The research was conducted by 172 native Korean people who are working for companies and a DCT(Discourse Completion Test) was used for the survey. This research paper is constructed as follows. In chapter Ⅰ, it looks into the necessity and purpose of current and preceding research, and clarifies the overall structure of this paper. In chapter Ⅱ, theoretical background of Korean language education for occupational purposes and directives is indicated. In chapter Ⅲ, it describes specific aspects of this research containing the subject, procedure, and analytical framework. In chapter Ⅳ, research results conducted by the method described in previous chapter is categorized and illustrated by request, consignment, and suggestion. Lastly, in chapter Ⅴ, it postulates the result of directives aspects and finalizes this research. The significance of this paper is as follows. Most of all, it can be an useful reference material for diverse business situations containing authentic conversation because specific request, consignment, and suggestion situations which have not been illustrated in existing published teaching materials on Korean language education for occupational purpose are suggested. Second, it analyzes a variety of native Korean workers' speech-acts and discovered some features of speech-act strategy according to circumstantial distinctiveness. That differentiates from preceding directive research which analyzed directive strategies of unspecified amounts of native Koreans such as students or workers. This research can be meaningful as part of a material for appropriate speech-acts under particular cultural circumstances and will be useful for both of learners and instructors.
