Pyrene Based Fluorecent Chemosensors

Abstract

In chapter I, A new pyrene derivative has been synthesized for the detection of Cu2+ in an aqueous solution. The chemosensor 1 displayed selective fluorescent enhancements with Cu2+ in the presence of various metal ions at pH 7.4. In chapter II, a selective fluorescent chemosensor bearing boronic acid group was developed to sense F- ion in acetonitrile. Probe 1 displayed a selective red fluorescence and a colorimetric change upon the addition of fluoride ion among the various anions examined. An OFF-ON type fluorescence enhancement was observed by the blocking of PET mechanism, which was induced by the interaction between fluoride and boronic acid moiety. In chapter III, Here we reported a fluorescent chemosensor which shows different selectivity for the detection of anions bearing four naphthoimidazolium groups. The compound 1 displayed an selective fluorescent enhancement with HSO4- among the various anions examined. Furthermore, sensor 1 shows unique emission spectrum with fluoride ions in CH3CN solution. New peaks are appear at 350 nm with fluoride, acetate, cyanide ion through (C-H)+---X- type ionic hydrogen bonds where charge-charge electrostatic interaction dominates. ;1장에서는 수용액 (pH 7.4, 20 mM HEPES) 상에서 구리이온을 검출할 수 있는 새로운 파이렌 유도체를 합성하였다. 본 형광 화학 센서는 생리학적인 pH인 pH7.4 수용액 상에서 구리이온에 대하여 선택적인 형광 증가 현상을 보였으며, 다른 음이온들과는 아무 반응도 일어나지 않았다. 2장에서는 아세토나이트릴 용매조건 하에서 불소 이온을 검출하여 선택적인 형광을 나타내는 붕산그룹을 포함한 형광 센서를 개발하고 이에 대하여 연구하였다. 불소이온이 들어가게 되면 선택적으로 붉은색 변화가 일어나며, 이는 붕소와 불소간의 결합과 관련이 있다. 3장에서는 황산 이온에 선택성을 지니는 이미다졸륨 결합구역을 가진 나프탈렌 유도체를 새로운 형광 화학센서로 합성하였다. 이 화합물은 수용액 존재하에서 여러 음이온 중, 황산 이온에 대해서 큰 형광 증폭 효과를 보였다. 또한 아세토나이트릴 용매 조건 하에서 다른 음이온들과 독특한 양상으로 형광이 변화되는 것을 관찰하였다.
