통합적 음악학습단계 이론에 기초한 국악감상 수업지도안 개발 연구

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 통합적 음악학습단계 이론과 국악교육의 유사성을 토대로 2009 개정 교육과정에서의 국악감상 수업지도을 개발하는데 있다. 이를 위해 통합적 음악학습단계 이론과 국악감상 수업지도안 개발 연구를 중심으로 선행연구를 분석하고 통합적 음악학습단계 이론에 기초하여 국악감상곡 수업지도안을 개발하였다. 통합적 음악학습단계를 활용하여 국악감상 수업을 진행할 때는 다음과 같은 긍정적인 학습효과가 있다. 통합적 음악학습단계는 박자에 의한 리듬패턴을 중요하게 다루고 있으며, 5개의 학습단계를 거쳐 자신의 내면으로 이해하는 과정을 포함한다. 이러한 과정을 통해 학습한 내용을 자신의 언어로 바꾸어보고 표현함으로써 감상곡에 대한 주요한 학습내용을 습득한다. 일반적으로 감상수업이라고 하면 정적인 활동이라고 여겨질 수 있는 반면, 통합적 음악학습단계 이론을 활용한 신체표현과 함께 곡을 감상하면 자연스럽게 음악적 특징을 학습하는데 도움을 준다. 또한 교사의 일방적인 전달수업이 아닌 다양한 활동을 통해 학습자가 스스로 감상곡을 이해하는 것이 가능하다. 본 연구에서는 중학교 1학년을 위한 국악감상 수업을 위해 현행 2009 개정 중학교 음악교과서 17종을 중심으로 국악감상 제재곡을 선정하였다. 제재곡 선정을 위하여 중학교 17종 음악교과서의 국악감상곡을 궁중음악･민속음악･창작음악의 세 영역으로 나누어 수록현황을 분석하였다. 국악감상 수업을 위한 제재곡은 교과서 분석을 통해 중학교 음악교과서에서 수록 빈도수가 높은 감상곡을 제재곡으로 선정하였다. 선정된 제재곡의 국악감상 수업지도안은 통합적 음악학습단계 이론에 기초하여 각각 2차시로 구성하였고, 현직 중학교 음악교사로 구성된 전문가 집단의 검증을 거쳐 수정 및 보완하였다. 본 연구자가 제작한 수업지도안은 설문을 통해 경력 10년 이상의 전문가 집단에게 지도방안에 대한 내용타당도 검증을 실시하였다. 수업지도안에 대한 설문결과, 본 수업지도안은 통합적 음악학습단계 이론에 기초하여 학습목표 설정과 학습내용은 적절한 반면, 수업시간 배분과 학습과제의 조절이 필요하다는 의견을 받았다. 이러한 의견을 반영하여 지도안의 수업시간 배분을 수정하고, 학습량을 조절하여 수업지도안을 보완하였다. 2013년도부터 순차적으로 시행되는 2009 개정 음악과 교육과정에서는 직전 교육과정과는 달리 음악교과의 감상영역을 독립적으로 제시함으로써 음악의 가치를 인식하고 생활화 할 수 있는 방안을 마련하고 있다. 따라서 감상학습의 중요성과 더불어 효율적인 국악감상 수업을 위한 수업지도안 개발의 필요성에 대해 제언하고자 한다. 본 연구에서는 수업지도안의 대상을 중학교 1학년으로 제한하였으므로 대상을 확대하여 중학교 2학년과 3학년의 발달수준을 고려한 수업지도안 개발 연구가 필요할 것이다. 학교에서 이루어지는 음악교육은 교사와 학습자들에게만 국한되는 것이 아니라 음악을 활용하는 모든 현장에 참여하여 연구하는 음악 학자들의 공유물로서 모든 이들의 적극적인 연구와 활동이 이루어져야 한다. 또한 음악교육에서 자국의 음악을 가르치고 학습하는 일은 성장기 청소년들에게 우리 문화에 대한 올바른 이해와 민족의 주체성을 확립하는 기회로서 그 중요성이 강조된다. 그러므로 효율적인 국악감상 수업을 위해서 학습자의 흥미와 이해도를 높일 수 있는 다양한 교수방법을 제시하고 개발하는 연구가 계속되기를 기대한다. ;The purpose of this study is to analyze appreciation pieces of Korean traditional music for 17 types of middle school music textbook with 2009 revised educational curriculum and develop the instruction model applying comprehensive music learning sequence. In this study, the first grade of middle school students were selected, and the Korean traditional music appreciation pieces from the music textbook of middle school were chosen. The appreciation pieces of traditional Korean music from seventeen different editions of middle school music textbooks were analyzed based on their contents and uses, and three separate categories were established. The classified categories were aristocratic music, folk music, and contemporary music. Appreciation pieces were selected by frequency of appreciation pieces, and considered the possibility of applying comprehensive music learning sequence. The selected appreciation music of aristocratic music is Sujecheon, one of the widely renowned pieces in the court music repertoire. The following appreciation music of folk music is Sanjo, virtuoso solo music accompanied by percussions. In contemporary music, the selected pieces are Korean traditional orchestral music that is composed by Yang Bang-eon, the leading pioneer of contemporary Korean music. Based on the established piece of music, each twice teaching methods have been set with comprehensive music learning sequence, and then and the necessary school materials have been produced. And after it was modified and supplemented through the verification by expert panel composed of the current music teachers in middle school. In result of verification, there was strict evaluation on candidacy of teaching-learning type and suitability of the appreciation class. Amongst the presented opinions, there existed doubt whether the students could digest all of the learning contents during class period because of large volume of learning materials. However, there was also positive evaluation on thorough development of the learning goals for music appreciation class and the need for development of detailed teaching plan for teachers. This study is developed and designed to benefit teaching-learning instruction method for appreciation class of Korean traditional music with comprehensive music learning sequence for the first grade of middle school students. Thus, I hope that the students achieve the effective and meaningful educational results through the appreciation education applying comprehensive music learning sequence as it is emphasized throughout the thesis. Furthermore, the study of teaching models targets not only the music appreciation, but the another scopes that show great potential for any progress and more diversity in other educational program.
