중등교사의 직무환경의 위험요소와 심리적 소진의 관계에서 긍정적 착각의 매개효과

Abstract

본 연구는 중등교사의 직무환경의 위험요소, 긍정적 착각, 심리적 소진간의 관계를 살펴보고 직무환경의 위험요소가 심리적 소진으로 이어지는 과정에서 긍정적 착각의 매개효과를 검증하기 위한 목적으로 수행되었다. 이 연구의 목적에 따라 다음과 같이 연구문제를 설정하였다. 첫째, 중등교사의 직무환경의 위험요소, 긍정적 착각, 심리적 소진의 관계는 어떠한가? 둘째, 중등교사의 직무환경의 위험요소와 심리적 소진의 관계를 긍정적 착각이 매개하는가? 이 연구는 현재 학교와 지역교육청에 재직 중인 중등교사 251명을 대상으로 하였으며, 직무환경의 위험요소 척도, 긍정적 착각 척도, 심리적 소진 척도를 사용하여 설문조사를 하였다. 수집된 자료는 Pearson 적률상관분석, 위계적 중다회귀분석을 통해 분석되었다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같이 확인되었다. 첫째, 직무환경의 위험요소, 긍정적 착각, 심리적 소진의 관계를 살펴본 결과, 통계적으로 유의미한 상관관계가 확인되었다. 직무환경의 위험요소는 심리적 소진과 정적상관이, 긍정적 착각은 심리적 소진과 부적 상관이 나타났다. 직무환경의 위험요소와 긍정적 착각은 부적 상관을 보였다. 둘째, 직무환경의 위험요소와 심리적 소진의 관계에서 긍정적 착각의 매개효과를 확인한 결과, 긍정적 착각의 하위변인 중 자기고양 편향과 비현실적 낙관주의가 중등교사의 직무환경의 위험요인과 심리적 소진의 관계에서 부분매개함을 확인하였다. 과장된 통제감은 매개효과를 나타내지 않았다. 본 연구 결과는 중등교사의 직무환경의 위험요소 속에서 발생할 수 있는 심리적 소진을 예방하고 감소시키기 위하여 자기고양 편향과 비현실적 낙관주의와 같은 긍정적 착각을 높여줄 수 있는 교육연수프로그램과 교사상담체계를 확립하는 것이 요구된다고 제시해주고 있다.;This study investigated the relationship between secondary school teachers’ Risk Factors at Job Environment, Positive Illusion and Burnout and identified mediating effects of Positive Illusion in relationship between Risk Factors at Job Environment and Burnout. For this purpose, research questions as follows: First, what is the relation between Risk Factors at Job Environment, Positive Illusion and Burnout? Second, does Positive Illusion have mediating effects on the relation between Risk Factors at Job Environment and burnout? Participants of the study were 251 secondary school teachers working either in office of education or in school. The responded to Risk Factors at Job Environment Questionnaire, Positive Illusion Questionnaire(PIQ), Maslach Burnout Inventory(MBI). The data was analyzed with statistical method of Pearson correlation coefficient and hierarchical multiple regression analysis. The research findings were as follows: First, to find out the relationship between Risk Factors at Job Environment, Positive Illusion and Burnout correlation analysis was carried out. Risk Factors at Job Environment and Burnout statistically show a significant positive correlation, while Positive Illusion and Burnout showed a significant negative correlation. Lastly Risk Factors at Job Environment and Positive Illusion had a statistically significant negative correlation. Second, a hierarchical strategy in multiple regression was conducted to examine among the Positive Illusion in playing a role of Risk Factors at Job Environment and Burnout. Self-Enhancement Bias and Unrealistic Optimism partly mediated the relationship between Risk Factors at Job Environment and Burnout. But Exaggerated Sense of Control does not effect for mediate the relationships between Risk Factors at Job Environment and Burnout. Accordingly, in order to prevent and minimize burnout by Risk Factors at Job Environment, we need to make efforts to raise secondary school teachers’ Self-Enhancement Bias and Unrealistic Optimism.
