유아의 인지양식과 놀이행동간의 관계

Abstract

본 연구는 장독립성-장의존성 인지양식엔 따른 아동의 놀이 행동의 차이를 알아보는데에 목적이 있다. 이와같은 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 구체적인 연구문제를 다음과 같이 설정하였다. 1. 인지양식에 따라 아동의 놀이행동은 차이가 있는가? 2. 인지양식과 놀이행동간의 관계는 아동의 성에 따라 차이가 있는가? 본 연구는 서울시에 소재한 3개 유치원 5,6세 아동 167명을 대상으로 유아용 인지양식검사를 실시하였다. 인지양식검사점수를 근거로 하여 장독립성-장의존성 집단으로 분류된 남녀 아동 80명을 관찰기록표를 사용하여 놀이행동을 관찰하였다. 자료처리는 빈도(%)와 x^(2) 검증으로 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 놀이형태에 있어서 장독립적인 아동들은 혼자놀이를 많이 하는 것으로 나타난 반면, 장의존적인 아동들은 집단놀이를 많이 하는 것으로 나타났다. 놀이종류에 있어서 장독립적인 아동들은 조작영역놀이를 많이 하는 것으로 나타난 반면, 장의존적인 아동들은 미술영역 놀이와 블럭영역놀이를 많이 하는 것으로 나타났다. 2. 남녀아동 모두 장독립적일 아동들은 놀이형태에서 혼자놀이를 많이 하는 것으로 나타난 반면, 장의존적인 아동들은 집단놀이를 많이 하는 것으로 나타났다. 놀이종류에 있어 남아인 경우 장독립적인 아동들과 장의존적인 아동들 모두 블럭영역놀이를 많이 하는 것으로 나타났다. 반면, 여아인 경우 장독립적인 아동들은 조작영역놀이와 미술영역놀이을 많이 하는 것으로 나타난 반면, 장의존적인 아동들은 미술영역놀이와 소꼽영역놀이를 많이 하는 것으로 나타났다.;The purpose of this study is to investigate the relation- ship between field independent-dependent cognitive style and play behaviors among 5-and 6-year-old children. The questions of the study are as follows: 1. Is there any relationship between cognitive style and play behaviors? 2. Are there sex differences in this relationship? Subjects of this study were 167 children of three kindergartens in Seoul. The preschool Embedded Figures Test (PEFT) was administered to assess field independence-dependence for 167 children. Then the play behaviors of 80 children classified as field independent-dependent group were observed during free play period using check list. The data were analyzed using frequency (percent) and x^(2)-test. Results of this study were as follows: 1. Field-independent children engaged more in solitary play while field-dependent children engaged more in group play Field-independent children chose mostly constructive play while field-dependent children chose mostly art play and block play. 2. Both girls and boys , field-independent children engaged more in solitary play while field-dependent children engaged more in group play. Both field-independent and field-dependent boys chose mostly block play. Field-independent girls chose mostly constructive play and art play while field-dependent girl's chose mostly art play and dramatic play.
