현행 중학교 과학교사용 지도서 (생물영역)에 대한 분석적 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 1981년 4차 개정된 교육과정에 따라 발행된 현행 중학교 과학 교사용 지도서 3권과 1973년 3차 개정 이후 이번 개정이 있기전까지 사용되어온 지도서 3권의 내용을 비교 분석한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 교육과정 비교에서 구교육과정이 지적인 면에 치중한 반면 신교육과정에서는 정의적인 영역이 강조되어 다루어졌고 또한 평가상의 유의점이 새로이 기술되어 있다. 교육내용면에서는 종전에 비해 단원이 축소 통합된 지식구조로 편성되었다. 2. 중학교 과학지도서는 학년별로 나누어져 있으며 각 권은 총론과 각론으로 되어있어 총론에서는 과학의 개괄적인 특징을, 각론에서는 구체적인 지도방법을 다루고 있다. 3. 신·구 과학지도서 모두 물리, 화학, 지구과학, 생물의 영역으로 나누어져 있고 생물영역의 비중이 타영역보다 높았다. 4. 내용면을 볼때 신 지도서는 수준으로 '개체' 주제로서 '구조와 기능'을 구 지도서는 수준으로 '조직기관' 주제로서 '생물과 환경'을 강조하고 있다. 5. 내용해설에 있어 신 지도서가 각 단원내용을 고른 비중을 두고 해설하고 있다. 6. 생물영역의 학습목표와 실험목표를 분석해 본 결과 신 지도서가 구 지도서에 비해 '탐구능력 신장'면이 강조되었다. 7. 교과서와 지도서간의 연계성을 보면 신 지도서가 구 지도서보다 비교적 연계성이 잘 이루어진 짜임새있는 구성을 하였다.;The new and the former editions of Middle School Science teacher's guides were analyzed and compared each other and the result obtained are as follows: 1. Considering the purpose of academic years, only intellectual part was emphasized in the former curriculum but in the latest curriculum definitive part is also emphasized and the latter had a deal with the suggestions of evaluation. 2. The new and the former teacher's guides are comprised element describing the general aspect and detailed exposition in which concrete guiding principles was explained. 3. Both the new and the former teachers guides dealed with every field equally of physics, chemistry, geology and biology, and emphasized biological field to some higher extent. 4. In the science teacher's guides of the new edition, the themes are stressed on 'individual' and ,'structure and function' in the levels wherease the former, 'tissue and organ' in the levels and 'organism and environment' in the themes. 5. Studing objectives of the new edition are stressed on the aspect of scientific inquiry more than those of the former edition. And the aim of experiment is mainly to become familiar with scientific inquiry and manners. 6. Looking about connection between the science textbook and the science teacher's guides, all of the new and the former editions are explained faithfully. Generally speaking, it is well done in the new edition than in the former.
